How are so many of you so bitter about this? Are Yuzu fans so used to him winning that even his disaster here deserved the benefit of the doubt?

Rika didn't bomb the way Mura did. He did that to himself.

Yeah, this time (though I still think that there shouldn't be a 36-point difference in the LP between him and Patrick for example). It's just that I've noticed in many competitions that, although his case is not nearly as extreme as Rika's, the judges do not tend to go with him. It's Hanyu, Uno... and then good luck to Mura with the points :con3:

Lol, what's 2012? Chan getting higher PCS than Hanyu?

Hanyu would deserve 90+ PCS but not with that program. It looked more like a jump fest than a program like Seimei which actually wove in interpretation and meaningful movements, and was way more exciting to watch. It's still early in the season, so let's give it time, but I'm just not quite sure what to make of this program yet and it kinda feels like a step back for him from an artistic standpoint (the Prince short program, however, I absolutely love!). Just because Chan or Hanyu have previous received a certain PCS doesn't mean any program they put out automatically has to match the PCS.

Both skaters' PCS scores were, as it should be, well below their personal bests as reflecting the performances/errors they put out there.

i don't understand why some people want Yuzu to win skate canada skating like he did in the SP and LP. Patrick wasn't great but he did place first in the SP with a decent performance, and his first two jumping passes got him a lot of points. Wasn't great but he did have a cushion.

This is not a local comp. LOL, this ISU event. And they did not have this problem with other events.
