i dont know what you intend about this post, but i just introduce the information concerning yuzu available in japanese language, since your members want to know those information. further, i try to describe without my view. (i put wow!, since some of our members seem to be interested in his costume. it doesnt concern my view.). why do you attack me?It's very obnoxious. ive just done my jobs so hard. i want to cry and disappear..

The emoji was for the news, not for you
I don't want him to change the costume :angry2:

Finally I've caught up!!

After the mishaps that was the short (gotta say, the knee 'slide' was cool), it was so nice to see him looking calm yet determined to do well in the free. I was so worried for him after the short but at the same time I trusted him with everything. So grateful it ended well.

I noticed there are more 'flairs' on the costume this time  it can only get more sparkly!
I also think he was being a lot gentler with his moves in the free. Idt I can really describe it but that's how it looked like/I feel. Part of it probably was because he's also being careful not to mess up. I don't think it took away from his presentation though, plus the music started out soft/slow. Some said it was rather snoozy, idts. It has dynamics and certainly builds up big time nears the end and I'm sure there are more program musics which are the real snoozy used out there lol.
Yay for the biellmann~ (I know.. I know.. a lot want him to ditch it but it just brings smile to my face) even if he got shaky right then (I kinda think he always does it so quick he didn't really have time to properly set into the position and make it stable)

Fingers crossed for his knee!! It does look like his instinct to go to such position to save himself from hurting..

Oh and that little stumble at the end!! I didn't expect it to happen at that point lol thank God he saved himself it wouldn't be funny (or it would, tbh) if he did took a little splat right at the end of the music.

Listening to him and Brian's conversation is always amusing.. also I heard enough of Yuzu's squeaky voice  it's so funny but it's so cute.

Welp I always ended up writing so much but I'm sure I haven't really put everything I wanted to say here haha. I wish I can be more active here but I just don't have the time anymore, such a shame. But I try to make sure I check in here whenever possible. Thus I really appreciate all the updates given by y'all. Sorry I may not thank y'all enough but I'm really grateful! :thank:

well done Yuzuru for coming back with great performance!!! he looked very composed even after mistakes and looked like he spent his energy effectively cause he didnt looked so tired at the end :yay: i think both hydroblade and ina bauer are much for chsq, music is fast and changing and i feel like there could be more movement and steps, it feels somewhat empty, i would keep one of them (probably switch ina bauer with hydroblade and remove HB cause so many people started to it :slink: )
btw seems like this lady hasnt aged since 2014 GPF

People should remember the name of the Italian judge who gave Yuzuru 7.75 but other men 8.5

What event is this
I only remember Angelique Clyde Smith from Australia at SCACI who gave his ss/tr 7.75 :disagree:

Mr. Marco BUTTARELLI ?
GOE Yuzu +12, Patrick +18
PCS Yuzu 83, Patrick 92.5

(Although in SP he was much nicer: 44 PCS for Yuzu and 45.75 for Patrick)

Considering that Yuzu's final GOE in FS was slightly higher than Patrick's, here some funny scores by Ms. Anne CAMMETT USA
GOE Yuzu +14, Patrick +23.
and Ms. Wei SHI CHN
GOE Yuzu +11, Patrick +20.

Finally caught up with the thread!

I woke up this morning and I immediately checked the SC result (I admit I was awake super early, my subsconcious was probably unable to sleep more knowing the competition finished LOL. And I also admit that I gave up watching live because it was too much for my little heart).. What a relief! Glad Yuzu was able to bounce back.
A pop and a fall are acceptable mistakes given the insane difficulty in his FP. This 3F out of nowhere is so cool ! I still found some empty moments in the program but no doubt he will fix it once he'll be more comfortable with it. The performance was a bit tentative and he can do much better in terms of presentation, but he did the job, and it was good for a first GP :) I just can't wait to see this evolve to finally contemplate a piece of art live  (ok ok I stop this, or I will jinx him again).

Congrats everyone we survived this ! :ghug:

Goodness. This is at this point, absolutely hilarious.

You should check his score for other skaters as well, for example, his score for Brezina and Samohin. :curse:

Translation of post-FS interview of Yuzuru at SC 2016

from this video https://twitter.com/yuzuru1207hanyu/status/792699279080951809

Translated by Sophie Moroi, from YHIFG Facebook

‘Well, I was discussing with Brian [over there] that it is just the first competition. Also, compared to the last competition [Autumn Classic], the score for the FS got much higher, which I am happy with. Also, it’s a good achievement that I was able to land the quad in the second half within the competition.’
‘I was quite frustrated with myself [with the SP yesterday], and I was feeling quite disappointed with myself throughout the day. But today, the first salchow was clean and, although I was feeling a little insecure with the 4T, I managed to make landing. So in this sense, I have been gradually making progress, I think.
‘[In terms of the routine preparations] I have slightly changed it. As some people might have been surprised, I only did three jumps during the 6 min warm-up, in thinking to ensure that my stamina should last until the second half. In terms of the second half, it turned out to be a good trial.’
‘I think this SC competition overwhelmingly revealed the lack of my skills and my mental weakness, so I’d like to work on them.
Thank you…. (going to the backyard) Phew!’

ETA: My opinion about the interview. I think this is a very positive insight from him. He used to be super kuyashii after a loss but now it seems he does sound more patient, and not really super hard on himself. He even patted himself in the back a bit for that landed 4T (and for landing his 4S), haha. I think this is a good sign. He is motivated, already looking forward and seems like he keeps his expectation in check and is more patient. I think it is important that he put that WR score behind him, otherwise it will be a constant burden and I get the impression that he kind of did so here.

I thank you for the information, hamaguri. I don't speak japanese and if it not were for people like you sharing with the rest of us I will miss a lot :thank:

Please, pay no attention to those who never seem to have anything nice to say and stay with us :ghug:
