Maybe I'm seeing this through Ruslena colored glasses, but after seeing the scores the other teams received, I think they were a liiiiittle lowballed in the Short Dance. Anyway, I hope they had a few weeks of good training and can at least fight for the bronze in Paris.

If I'd have any say, I'd put Elena and Ruslan on bronze placement from the spot right now, even before actual competition - they have far more interesting programs this year that Hubbell/Dohohue who will probably get this bronze to my despair...Their SD is a busy mess for me and FD is really bland and uninspiring which Zachary trying to do Guillaume Cizeron so hard it hurts...
I agree with you and i think that h/d aren't the only ones who are imitating the french, B/S and the italian G/F are doing it too. The saddest thing is that judges like it and prefer to give them high scores instead to prize original FD such as Ruslena's one.
So, next year Ruslena should do a FD with classical music if they want to get good results. It's sad but true

No, they are better than 4th, 3rd is where they should be!
