GEM - "Song For Her"
The Spice Girls are back!!!
And even with 2 fewer members, they sound just the same as they did 20 years ago! Like, you can listen to this new song and at each line go "there's Emma", "there's Mel B", "there's Geri"...
Hearing the girls again really brings back lots of happy memories.
And on a sad note, today is the 25[SUP]th[/SUP] anniversary of the death of the great Freddie Mercury.
Here is my favourite song of all time:
Queen - "Bohemian Rhapsody"
There are so many Queen songs I could link to here. But I love them all so much that it would pain me to choose just a few.
So, I will fast forward to the final music video that Freddie appeared in, recorded a few months before his death:
Queen - "These Are The Days Of Our Lives"
Very poignant.
And the final Queen single, the video of which is a beautiful tribute to Freddie:
Queen - "The Show Must Go On"
Freddie may now be gone a quarter of a century, but as long as his music is around, the show will indeed go on.
