Using a VPN I was able to listen to Kurt's commentary just now. He used all the usual superlatives when talking about Yuzu, including calling him a wizard after he landed the 4lo. He also spoke about how relaxed his upper body and face were throughout the skate--that he seemed calm despite the pressure of having to complete such difficult technical content.
The woman who commentates with Kurt was her usual annoying self.

He just need more vocabulary to express his feelings better. His pronunciation improved big time. But vocabulary, well, I'm sure his skating vocabulary improved as well
But I will miss the Yuzu that tries so hard to respond in English, and suddenly turns around looking for a Japanese translator.
Yes, kurt was gushing. At the very beginning they discussed his short program and showed parts of it... loving the slide.
Kurt did call him a wizard for landing his 4L, and commented on how relaxed his face was 4 someone planning 4 quads. He also said he was the right person to have won the Olympics and still stayed because he obviously had much more to give... and said he was way ahead of the skating world in many ways/areas...cant remember the word he used. He ran through the usual good pts like upper back, running edge, musicality, audience appeal, but said his favourite was how relaxed his face was.
Carol Lane, the dance coach who also commentates, said she saw it live at SC and said it was a program that needed to be clean to have a greater impact.
In that interview he used 'especially' and his sentences were more complete... so proud of our little cygnet.
