Hello Yuzuru fans. Does anyone have a link to a QR code of a Yuzuru-Mii? I want to dress him up and play around on Miitomo....:otopic:

EX, a tiny bit more gushing than before

Japanese, Hanyu Yuzuru, gold medalist. Total score passed 300. Next is his exhibition.

Ina bauer. Combination spin. Biellmann. 3A. Flying camel spin. Sit spin. Today he became a very elegant swan.

Japanese skater Hanyu Yuzuru delivered a magnificent performance. He was second at Skate Canada and first at NHK, qualifying for the GPF. He is seeking a fourth straight win, he's been the GPF winner since 2013. He has qualified for the GPF for six years straight.

[slow-mo]

Hydroblading.

The audience is clapping non-stop waiting for Hanyu Yuzuru to perform his encore. [video breaks for a bit] he's covered in sweat, about to perform again. Hanyu Yuzuru is definitely a very popular athlete. [No idea what she's calling this.]

A great skater, not just an athlete but also a performer. His exhibition has a completely different feel to his SP, it's as if two different people were performing. Performing this bit of his SP again surely makes the audience want more.

LMFAO Simon from BEurosport calling Yuzuru so adorable is my new aesthetics.

This would be the dream. However, the amount of people who would dress him in black and white vests and unfinished bowties would be my demise. :handw:

Isn't he the one who has been gushing over him since Yuzuru was a junior? He keeps calling him the best ever since 2014, even before Yuzuru the GOAT was a thing, how hipster of him
But not as hardcore as aggressive Polish ESP guy I think hahahah.

That's why I always prefer BESP, just so I can hear him (and Chris and Nicky) gushing over Yuzu :luv17:

And now it's almost 5am here, time to pass out, I wonder how many new pages I'll wake up to

Yep, he was the one who called it since 2009 Junior Worlds. And then in Worlds 2012. Hipster is an understatement. :coffee:

Polish, British and Italian team are neck to neck in this department.

ETA : Is Yuzuru really still only 171 now? Sotskova is 170 cm and is wearing heels (?) but Yuzuru still look taller than her (forever riddle of Yuzuru's current real height)

Simon Reed is the biggest fan of Yuzu. I've been listening to his commentating since 1998 (I literally learned English from him and uncle Chris-thanks guys! :thank:) and I can tell you his two favourites ever are Yuzuru and Yuna. xD
He loves Yuzu so much that his wishful thinking led him to fantasize that Yuzu's new SP may get the world record at NHK.

Yuzuru Hanyu’s comments at post-NHK Trophy 2016 Press Conference:

Q: Are there plans to include a fourth type of quad in your programmes?

A: First of all after the injury to the lisfranc joint on my left foot, the jumps which caused the least stress to it were the loop and lutz. Although the lutz takes off on the left foot, unlike the flip it takes off on the outside edge and relative to the flip, more weight is placed on the heel. Therefore, precisely due to more weight being bore by the heel, as less burden is placed on the lisfranc joint I practiced it. Although I had landed a quad lutz by chance during practice at an ice show the season prior to the last season (2014-2015), after that I did not try it again due to concerns about injury. As of the off-season as I was able to practice it until I could land it with step outs, although this is not to say it will be included next season, but if it can tentatively be considered I think it would be great.

On the topic of Italian commentators gushing over Yuzu, they aired a podcast during last season. It started during summer and it went all the way through GP finals. At the beginning it was a general podcast about winter sports. Then figure skating sort of spun out of control and it took over most of the space, so they decided to air a specific spinoff. The result? 9 episodes spanning from 1h and a half to almost 3 hours. And despite the wide range of topics, you can only imagine who was the everpresent topic of discussion in each episode...

I was watching the Akiko interview at the Gala and when 21:14 came I legit thought for a milisecond that they were the japanese ice dance team and got excited to the sky and beyond while thinking "Wow, Is Japan really that much lacking ice dancers?" , I cannot. I'm such a poser ice dance fan. LMFAO We need a male-male or female-female ice dance team, millennials need to make it happen.

Also Nathan's comments about Yuzuru are cute, I remember he's a major Yuzuru stan if one can't already tell from his layout, hides Relatable.

Glorious. If he's this open about it, I think the Lutz is coming along nicely. Anything that is less stress the better but also I do think he'd want to do a four type quad program, for the prestige of it too. Fingers crossed (and good bye hair).

:thank:

A: At this event, though I think there were probably people at the official practice who were surprised by it, I’m practicing placing the quad toeloop or quad salchow as the final jump (in the FS). While it is definitely difficult to replace the final triple lutz with a quad in the run-through, by practicing it gradually, I think it would be great if it can be considered for the next season.

the kid is creative as usual !

Good lord. Definitely good bye hair.

Watch him have a 4 different quad, 4 quad program, with the final jump being a quad. We'll die.

Nothing surprises me. He is never content. If he can land a jump by itself, then of course it must be made into a combo... and then, of course, it must have a difficult entry or exit... and repeat.

:thank:

That and his answer that he wants to try to do 4lo combination for the next season, OMG:hpull: this kid! I'll die from a heart attack watching him:drama:

Send me your bank account, I will come and collect your body.

:laugh2:

To summarize:

- a 4 different quads program, so with the 4Lz
- a 4Lo combo
- a quad last jump in the FS

You know, it might end up that way and I'll require your services but by golly, I refuse to keel over until I see that at the Olys, if he does indeed do it.

Just when I was thinking to myself all is well, he's had a good competition and his condition is great...time to settle down and see how the rest of the season goes. But in Yuzuru's head it's time to start adding quads at the end of the program  I can't cope with this kid!!
