After rewatching his FS so many times, I think this is my new favourite part. The hand movement and the way his body sinks and rises to the note. Everything is so soft there. I really love the improved step sequence and the new connecting section between the 3F and 2nd 4S before the stop.

Also, do we really not have to worry about the 3Lz anymore?? It seems so secure now and he held the Ina Bauer longer this time too.

That's a great news! He would have the chance to skate in the same rink, and a competition in between the Nationals and worlds is expected to help him better prepare for the worlds.

A funny story: i was lurking on YouTube and watched Nathan Chen's sp at NHK and accidentally saw that one comment that made me
Someone with a russian name claimed how Chen would have won if the competition were somewhere else and that he is already better than the japanese.

Oh, he's going to have quite a packed season, then (at least from what he's used to doing). He's already competed 3 times (AC, SC, NHK), he has the GPF and Nationals coming before the end of the year. Then 4 CC in February and Worlds in March. And there's WTT in April this year too, which he can't really avoid, except in the case of injury (*knocking on every piece of wood in my house*).
I hope he rests up a lot in January! (please don't do too many ice shows, Yuzu)

Okay so here is the article where it mentioned he is thinking about 4cc in South Korea in February.

It also mentioned he knows that 2018 Olympics will be in the morning because of NBC broadcasting rights (wanting it to be prime time) and has started making a plan with his sponsors of sleeping goods and food.

I honestly think there is nothing I can possibly like more than those few steps from Seimei - I'd love to be proven wrong in the future though.

Oh I definitely didn't mean best of all time but just within this FS. He has had so many memorable moves and programs it's impossible to just have one best one for me. I love those two that you linked as well.

I'm watching the Akiko no heya video and please, natives or people who understand more about this language than me, could you please confirm if he was listening to Wada Kouji before the free program? If I'm not mistaken he said that it was one of the songs from digimon tri... If he was oh my god, Wada Kouji was one of my favourite singers ever, i cried all day when he died sorry if someone said it before, I'm on my phone because of logistics issues with my pc

Ok i would edit that post but I'm on my phone so it deletes it for some reason. I watched it again and i am positive he mentioned one on rock, something i didn't catch and then the image of him lip syncing whilst putting on the fs gloves and he says " i was probably listening to Wada Kouji san's "butterfly" " and something about it being from digimon tri. I can definitely read the "Oh my love" in his lips from the chorus!!!! someone help me I'm having an intense fangirl moment here....

Yes, he said it's Kouji Wada's "Butter-Fly" from Dejimon Adventure (video game). I love how he loves playing games. I find it really adorable.

really? Maybe i figured it out because Kouji Wada is one of my favourite singers and i ADORE that song. i thought my ears were describing me when i heard it, and honestly i was painting my nails and not paying much attention, i could follow the conversation quite easily from where he said that he sleeps until the afternoon and plays games until midnight (i think? he's my spirit animal lol, i do the same on weekends) but when he mentioned Kouji Wadai though i was hallucinating haha
