To be very honest, at this point I don't care if he finishes dead 6th in GPF or decides to roll around at the ice at Nats, just wIN THE GODdAM WORLDs !!1!!1! Lmao.

But of course he has very different thoughts than mine. :rofl2:

Actually it wouldn't even make that much difference if he doesn't win Worlds but this World title has been eluding him for 2 seasons already and even his title at 2014 wasn't all that much definite. If it's already frustrating for me, someone that has no relation with him whatsoever, I imagine how it is for him.

Of course, there's that standard talk about "I don't care where he places as long as he keeps skating" that should be said but I just want that one flawless H&L skate at Worlds, c'mon.
I'm sorry for being a sinner. :dev3: :dbana:

:laugh2:

Nationals.... IF Uno would have a chance to beat Yuzuru, this would be annoying ( because of all the annoying people, who jump to conclusions, you know what i mean). But on the other hand, maybe Yuzuru would have less pressure if they would focus more on Shoma
He could do surprising, "unexpected" things

I can already foresee the news headline if Yuzu lose to Shoma or anyone else in the Nat, considering the PCS of the latter, it would be painful to watch.

In general, I think that the Japanese takes pride as an very important thing. National pride, family pride and your own pride.

Pretty much. Especially Yuzuru, so I hope he can do well enough at nationals. For his own sake because we know how much it means to him.

:scratch2: guys... GPF has yet to come, I think we should worry about GPF first. :roll9: we need extra hearts for GPF.
Damn I have assigments to do, how can I concentrate! :drama:

But this talk about something else is a nice distraction or otherwise I'm close to going :hpull: I am one of those greedy fans who wants it all for him. All! Give me everything and I have a whole list of reasons why, some not so nice. Tucks her inner beast back into its box. Ahem.

:agree:

..and I have a great respect of that pride Japanese people have , even if my culture may work differently.

OMG. I read that as tucks your inner breast back into its box. Whoops, lol.

Well the GPF is making us a bit loopy, it's ok :console: though I am now trying to imagine that because that's just how my brain works and weird. Weird.

I'll be moving to a different flat during the GPF, so... I'm not sure I can keep track of things :( But I'll keep my fingers crossed for Yuzu!

I think Yuzuru has a lot of pride, a lot, so I think the title of the National Champion probably means quite a bit to him though I couldn't agree with you more, if he has to stumble, Nats are the best place to do so. But even if he isn't perfect his programs are still insanely difficult so he's fine from the other two chasing him. Both he and Shoma are in the GPF though, so that's the same in that regard. It'll be interesting to see if we can find out if he goes back to Canada first or not.

Though of course, the ideal option is the quadruple crown

No doubt it’s a smart choice to plan 5 intercontinental trips in one month, Jules Verne would be so proud of a gyroscopic Yuzu !

It seems Yuzu' GPF world records after a recovery week in Japan are not enough :drama: :laugh2:

You can watch the golden spin of zagreb to distract yourself lol. I probably would watch because the entry is good, especially for the singles, and I am excited to see how Kostner will do.
I am not so pumped for GPF this year honestly. :slink:

Aw why not? I'm really excited for the men's...much less so for the women's. I could hardly care less about the women's this year -_- in the past it's usually the opposite

I will have my CPA final exam result released on Dec 9th:noshake::noshake::noshake:So in between men's sp and lp of GPF:bang:I dont know how I am going to survive next week

I admit that I am but not too much I hope. It's a good checkpoint for him that I'd like to see him put that tick in the box, one of several towards Helsinki. I think mentally it'll be good for him if he can skate well.
Though, I am planning to check out the GS ladies if I can. The short is at 19hr local time, which is two hours ahead of the men's short for the GPF and yes, same. I really want to see how she'll do and what's her current form even. I'm pretty excited about her return but am trying to manage it

Well yeah mostly because the entry for pairs and ladies is a let down for me. Men are more expected, but to be honest, regarding the result, I don't think I would fuss over it so much. If Yuzuru wins, that's great, he has been doing so 3 years in a row so it is not like it is a surprise. If he doesn't, that's fine too, maybe it is a sign that he could shift his peaking time or maybe it is just him having a bad day. If it was up to me, I consider that he got enough GPF title for now (for me) thus I wish for him to shift his energy and attention to other comp like 4CC/worlds. However, I also know that he cares so much about GPF, so this is just my wishful thinking lol. In my ideal world Yuzuru will win everything and skate clean every single time but that's not how things work in the real world

I am having good feelings about this GPF but I am trying to keep expectations low in case... He should win that DAMN WC finally as Lambari said so even if he looses GPF I think I can survive ( only if he wins wc) But seriously, I am almost sure inside that he's gonna win GPF, I am rarely having such positive feelings as an ultimate pessimist so...:clapper: go Yuzu !

To divert away from GPF anxiety, :luv17:
Let's take a flashback friday look at Yuzuru's 4Lz attempt early this year.
He made the rotation, and as you can see from the slow mo, he very barely prerotated it. If only he can stand on his feet, it will be beautiful :luv17:
