Thanks seabm7! I was looking for a translation too.
So it seems that Lena lost her motivation for awhile and got it back too late for her to really do well this season.
In some ways, I think this experience is a good thing for Lena. From reading some of Goncharenko's other interviews, it seems like doesn't want to tell her students what to do all the time; she really wants them to be able to think for themselves. And sometimes this means letting them make poor decisions so that they can learn from their mistakes. And it kind of sounds like this is what happened here...when Lena was feeling lazy or distracted with other things, perhaps Inna didn't scold her or force her to practice more, and now Lena has seen the consequences and has changed her thinking.
Now, if Lena decides that she wants to be on the Olympic team, I think she will be willing to fight for it at all costs.

Thanks for the links! It's cool that Lena and Sergei got invited to perform at the hockey match.
I wonder why Lena only did double salchows and no Biellman spin...I guess she's taking it easy (but I also hope she's not injured)... :con3:
Here are some other random links.

On a totally unrelated note--Lena and Ksenia Stolbova were in each other's IG stories the other day (again). I think it's really interesting (and somewhat unexpected?) that they seem to be close friends.
ETA One more thing...kinda sad that Lena is featured so prominently on the Worlds 2017 website:

(If you click through the tabs at the top, eventually Lena's picture should pop up...) :sad21:
