Please do not take Harajuku fashion as the standard taste of Japanese

Majority of Japanese see their fashion weird, but do not say it loud as we know it's up to them what to wear. Their family might want to stop them to choose such fashion, but others do not care. Japanese people rarely mind others knitting, although it might be chuckled behind.)

Maybe Japan is a society where distinction between public and private matters is very very clear. Even those boys and girls in dressed in kinky fashion will wear recruit suits (typical Japanese English

) in dark color when graduating from school.
