2017 U.S. Nationals Championship Men SP

Bummer about the 2F, but I really enjoyed that! He is so talented, and I loved the Gypsy Kings music for him. Will be difficult to stay in 6th place (as he was last year) with that skate though.

I'm just a wimp with swallowing pills. I'm not worried about the dosage. Just about crushing the pill, since some stuff is dangerous to crush (like time release things, rate of absorption issues, mucous membrane irritants)

As long as it's not extended release, you should be good

Alexander Johnson:

Landed 3Lz with a tightly curled free leg (double footed?). Satisfactory 3A. Good speed and positions in the spin. Only a 2F+3T, but it will at least count as a combination. After Javier's flamenco-inspired SP, some of the choreography here is deficient, and I think it's not as great as Johnson is capable of.

Nice program for AJ - beautiful camel position, would like to see him get into his knees a bit more and be stronger through his core.

Dang....That combo. He's such a good performer and I love his style but, the Men are so strong now that he can't afford to miss his combo especially without a quad in his program.

Go Tomoki!

I loved him last year. He's so small and cute! Hard to believe he is 17. Needs a new shirt though.

Ahhh nothing like a nice long night of skating at the end of the week [emoji5]

Now if only I could figure out what the colored boxes under the tech score are...

Went super slow into that 3A. No surprise he missed it.

Leaving Alex when he was totally on the right track last season might've been a mistake, unless there were personal problems (like with Gracie).

This footwork sequence is great. He has excellent skating skills.
