2017 U.S. Nationals Championship Men SP

Nice skate for Kevin Shum. Nice combo, nice solo triple, played it safe with with double axel. Let's see how he develops under Mark Mitchell.

Okay so this is the first time I am seeing Emmanuel Savary. I just have to say that it is VERY refreshing to come across an African American male figure skater.

I agree! His skate was lovely too. I think I'm about to become a big fan of his.

Um, all people on this planet are africans, what do you mean? :scratch2:

Oh, give it a rest, I believe you are smart enough to know what this means. And if you don't, PM me, and I will explain this common and accepted term used in American English.

And I am also thrilled to see an African American male skater and to see him do well at his first Nats. I don't know if we have a senior African American skater since Rohene. When was Derrick Delmore active?

Holy score, Batman. 32.20 TES already and he's done TWO elements (well, 3 jumps but you get what I mean.)

Nathan's skating is so effortless. Sooooo impressive for a guy so young.

His interpretation and performance is also way better than it was. It turns out I really like this SP!!!

Nathan should always do ballet. Plus, it's obvious how much Marina has helped him - and Raf in the jumps too, obviously.

His performance skills are night and day compared to even a year ago. He really is special.
