Lots of speed into 3F+3T. Unfortunate fall on the 3A, and underrotated. Incredible split jump and Bielmann position. Double-footed 3Lz, very tense, and definitely < or <<. I know some people here don't like Sam Smith, but his lyrical phrasing is world-class and this is the kind of music that accentuates his style. His injury has certainly hurt him.

A Nathan/Jason team is super preferable to Nathan/anyone-else-but-Max. But since Max is definitely out, give us Jason.

Anyway, after tonight, I will tolerate very little bashing of Nathan and his PCS. I totally got it before and largely agreed, but he was AMAZING tonight, both skating-wise and interpretation-wise.

Kinda wondering who USFSA should send as the 2nd man. Ross is very inconsistant, Jason is injured, Vincent doesn't have TES requirements to do senior Worlds, and everyone else kinda bombed tonight...

It's kind of depressing actually... what an underwhelming competition, except for Nathan of course.

I'm just happy figure skating is getting more fans, even if they can be mildly annoying. But hell, I've been on this board for 3 years and I'm still moderately annoying so who am I to complain

But they stupid things like calling ice dance pairs or couples skating. I wish they could all drive over a ditch. They keep ruining tumblr tags.
