Oh my! I didn't know she got dropped by Russian coaches :dev2:. In anycase Eli made the good choice of going to TCC. Going for the 4sal!!!

The coaches didn't choose to "drop" her. They were not allowed to work with non-Russian skaters prior to Sochi.

- It is a pleasure to be a torch-bearer, - Elizabet said. – It is such a pity I will not be able to take part in the Universiade in my home country but it is ok. I am still young and will have another chance to take part in the next one. I will not be able to watch any of the competitions because I need to get ready for my own. I am planning to take part in the Four Continents Figure Skating Championships and the Asian Games. But I am going to root for all Kazakh athletes, especially those who are from Kyzyl-Orda.

Well it seemed to me too that she's been 16 for more than a year I don't know why.

I haven't noticed her age when she was 15. When she went to jr. worlds and worlds last season I knew that she was already 16, but it was almost a year ago... since then many things happenned, except that she remained 16 until yesterday

Now she does Rippon 3lz She fell on it... I hope that doing it doesn't destabilize the jump.

Edit: she does a lot of rippon jumps the second half jumps were good... I think she spent much time with Eteri group

thanks!!! its sweet of announcer to wish her happy birthday and she looked happy:luv17: i dont usually like too much tano/rippon but her position is very nice and she also did 4 combos probably because she wasnt happy with luts mistake though ahhhhh so excited!!! :hap57:

LOL! I do notice she does tano's often in her LP, yeah probably because of staying with Eteri's group. But it's not something bad though since the tano can be a source of +GOEs.

Her LP is lovely as always and her movements are a lot softer than before. May she skate this program clean (like at nationals).

He was a figure skater as well but he retired because of injury if i remember correctly, she said he was her coach at nationals
