OMG. There LP today was so awesome! Considering her health issues, it is insane how good it was. Well deserved! :clapper:
Honestly, I haven't been this enthralled in a pair team since Shen & Zhao. It's so rare that a pair team has this much chemistry, awesome pair elements, AND are both individually superb skaters.

I loved Sui and Han so much at 4CC this week. Well deserved win!
I'm amazed at how far they've came since we first saw them out of juniors! Remember the days when people thought they wouldn't be more than a pair jumping team and that Cong Han was too short for Weijung?
Speaking of which, and I must be shallow and ask -- is it me or did Cong Han up the hotness factor? I always thought he was sort of a cute partner for Queen Weijung, but this week, I couldn't stop looking at him! I feel sort of creepy saying this cause I'm more than a decade older than him.

I love wenjing, but tbh i always thought cong was the stronger skater, even though she's fun and sassy. But I know what you mean- he's been more expressive, which is great to see. Either way, he's really the ideal(okay, maybe not height ideal, but who needs height when you have twists like that?) partner, he's strong and really presents her wonderfully and of course, they match so well.

I could make the argument that if any of a pair should be the stronger skater, it should be the male. Your skating skills should be superb if you are going to do lift and throws that are going to be dangerous if something goes wrong. It makes me physically uncomfortable when I see a pairs/ice dance team where the the male is struggling to skate and control his edges - and then go to lift/throw the female.
That being said, you could take the throws/lifts/jumps out of their program and Sui and Han would still be
to watch. Ideally, yes, that should be the case, but i actually hear a lot of complaints of how there's lots of great pairs ladies but not enough strong/skilled male partners. I could name quite a few examples.
Yes, s/h have become so special because their non-elements are beautiful. The ice dance comparisons, especially with the sp, are spot on.

I'm curious to find out who the NBC pairs commentators are, because I watched their coverage of the pairs free skate and they were so complementary of Sui/Han, they even compared Wenjing to "a Michelle Kwan if she was reincarnated into a pairs skater" 
They also said that they were a very special pairs team and they hope they win Worlds

I don't need to add to the accolades here but to agree with them and to congratulate Wenjing and Cong for a well deserved win. They've given me two of the most memorable programs of this season and from this event.
And a funny sidenote: When Sui/Han greet D/R during the medal ceremony, they hilariously compare heights
Congratulations for the consecutive 4CC title. My Empress Sui and Knight Han rocked the field! I would be excited if they finally win World title this year!

I am in love with their two performances! They really are like one on the ice, their interpretation is exquisite and the throws - just WOW (I still don't understand how the 3STh in the FS had not all +3s from the judges in GOEs :disapp:

I am mesmerized by their skating, both the SP and FP are just incredible! There is something so special about them.

The commentators are Andrea Joyce and John Coughlin. Coughlin is the 2-time U.S. National pairs champion for the 2010 and 2011 seasons. I just LOVE his commentary.

We had discussed earlier here that Cong get more handsosme this season. We got used to his new hotness already 
But you know, it should be expected. After all, Cong has said himself he has sexy butt. And we cannot deny it!

Fun moment in the pairs press conference: A reporter asks a question in English regarding Cong Han's height saying something along the lines of "Compared to Eric Radford, you're a very short pairs man. But you're very strong, what's that like?" or something in that regards and the audience laughs but Han doesn't understand the question yet until it's translated in Chinese. When he finally realizes that they're asking about his height, he gets frustrated and tries to sit up a lot taller I think Wenjing is making fun of him during the question too
