Wenjing Sui & Cong Han

I was listening to the CBC post 4CC Facebook video and Kurt Browning, PJ Kwong and David Pelletier had lots of nice things to say about Sui and Han, but my favourite part was that Kurt totally ships them.

Do you have a link? Thank you.

A little late to the party, but nevertheless...I'm joining the Sui and Han train. Love them! She is so fabulous and John Coughlin had it right when he compared her to Michelle Kwan if she were to be reincarnated into a pairs skater. I saw them in person for the first time at Worlds in Boston and I couldn't put my finger on why I couldn't stop watching her. It's because she wears her heart on her sleeve and allows us to see her emotions all the while projecting to the top of the arena. It was like a slap in the face after he said it and I completely agreed. She can carry on with the Queen crown.

Cong is so strong and manly while also being gentle and sweet as he presents her. I think pound for pound, he has to be one of the strongest males out there (like gymnasts, he's small but mighty). Not only is he strong and makes it look effortless all the while having the best skating skills of any team, he does so while throwing a new found sexiness into the mix. That one move where he holds her against his chest before lifting her up into that awesome lift, is just too hot! I'm old enough to be his mother, but even mothers can admit when their sons are good looking.

Chiming in: I never had any real favourites in pairs or much enthusiasm for it besides watching when it was on/trying to get into it, but Sui and Han's short at 4CC was a revelation to me. I liked their short from Worlds 2016, but this was just incredible. And their heartbreaking, beautiful free skate as well. Their ability to emote is so genuine and both of them are such strong characters.

Count me in too !
I'm totally in love with their SP - it's absolutely gorgeous, and besides, I love blues for klook, it reminds me of Daisuke's unforgettable program :)
And they're both SO charismatic. Wenjing is probably the female skater I find the most classy, even when counting ice dance and single ladies. And I'm amazed by the facility and gentlenesse Cong uses to lift her ! He doesn't look strong, but god he IS !

Between them and James/Cipres, I can't hide my excitement for Pairs ! Pairs has become my second favourite category, not that far behind men :)

:otopic: I am also a huge fan of J/C and S/H - I hope they find lots of success at this year's worlds!

I watched the youtube video and had a nice chuckle. It made me remember the "he talks to much. He is almost like my father. There is no skating chemistry" comment from Wenjing at Worlds 2016. She shoots down any relationship rumor immediately  Cong doesn't get to have a say!

There is already another level of excitement now that they're back. I was holding my breath and very nervous when they first started their SP at 4CC, but you could see right away that she was looking really good. So happy they're back!

Wenjing's "There is no chemistry" was hilarious, even after it was clarified the question was about skating chemistry  And yes, Cong doesn't get to have a say, as always :p

There's an interview before 2016 COC, the reporter told Wenjing that She and Cong have great couple feeling on ice. Cong, after hearing this, he stepped back from Wenjing with no words but a Cheshire Cat smile. Wenjing looked annoyed( in a lovely way) : "They are talking about on ice! Why are you stepping back??!"

Oh I didn't hear about this! But I can totally picture this happening

Did anyone find a fan cam version of their programs from 4CC's? I just cannot get over how bad the camerawork was for the event. I know it was probably a Korean television feed and I think the producers thought they were doing one of their infamous dramas. The jarring close ups, and focusing on the feet while so much was happening up top, the fading in and out of faces at the beginning of the singles and dance performances, showing close-ups of the ladies while in their un-pretty positions, focusing on one skater when its a team...yikes! :confused2::scratch:

Here's praying that we will not get their feed for the Olympics unless they fix these issues pronto. Although I do believe NBC has the rights to the Olympics. I want to see those programs in their entirety and looking at the full body views of this magnificent duo. Can someone please help a sister out?

I only find their SP:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2VAtrJMLHfg
Hope it can help:)

I know there were fancams of their practices... It's not the official program but it gives a nice look at their choreography even if they skipped a few elements.
