I was referring to Han Yan's :bow: to Patrick at last year's 4cc.. Patrick seems to be his idol.

Ah yes, I do remember that. Yes, Patrick seems to be a very suitable idol for Hanee. Plus both have the admiration of our own Violet Bliss!

To me also great 3A is a :luv17: factor in skaters ;) I'm still not over Hanee losing it somehow... But I'm not afraid to say Han is super hot, he's an adult after all! And I after I get to know about Korean idols, I started to think he looks like one of them :biggrin:

Yes, big power jumps, I said, not just quick spinning in the air. Han has the best 3A in the business and it will return from the temporary wander. Not many skater have all three attributes I listed - handsomeness, great skating skills and big power jumps. And a goofy bonus. :)

Yeah, but from all big jumps, I love the 3A the most :) And I meant it specifically. Patrick for example never had wonderful 3A, though some of his jumps are really great (4T-3T at 4CC was amazing). TBH, I think all my favourite Men skaters have either awesome 3A or at least a good one. I really hope you are right about Hanee's 3A coming back. I really miss it in Men's field. There are some other skaters with some big jumps (Mikhail Kolyada's 3 Lutz is out of this world), but such great 3A and the other things you mentioned are one in a million I think. I agree being goofy is a bonus too :biggrin:

Hmmm, I think Han has bigger lips. But that may be just a photo. I would probably need to see their photos next to each other.

Another element of Han's that I love is his doughnut spin, which I find quite ugly the way most Men do it. Han has his leg and foot completely level and then reaches for the blade with his hand, not pulling up the skate with the hand while sticking out the butt. Plushenko does or did it well too and there is another Man who actually pulls down the skate from above his hip. Sorry I can't think of his name right now. The rest, ugh.

Congrats Han on your deserved podium finish! :rock: I loved his FS!!! And the 3A seems to be on its way back to its rightful owner! A little reluctantly, but nevertheless. ;)

Congratulations Hanee for the return of the manly skate! And the bronze medal to remind him of the triumphant and confident feelings of a winning performance. Keep the confidence and no more over thinking, HANdsome!
