It's the first one. I don't know if there are translations of the second (though I may buy the 2nd one if the pictures are pretty haha)

I wish my japanese was good enough to translate it, i'm at a very awkward stage where i understand a lot but i can't seem to find the words to translate it to english (or spanish) and i end up trying to translate the words and the feelings at the same time, probably due to the way i have been learning the language until now. I wish there was a translation too because there are some parts i don't quite get, but the ones i've read, although there's not a lot of "new" information, provide some good insights into what he was thinking and honestly, reading "i want to be the world's strongest skater" always makes my heart soar :luv17:

I have bought a few Poohs, but the ones at the Disney stores are way overpriced. You could try local "normal" toy-stores and save on travel-time and a few bucks. ;-)

Disney store is having a sale so I was able to go there after work last night and get smaller ones for only $6 a piece! And then the medium Pooh was $12 marked down from $20! I don't really think I have the heart to give that one up though, lol.

I went to a book store yesterday and checked an-an and Nippon Camera. They both have some beautiful photos but may not be worth purchasing from abroad if you need to pay extra fee. If there's anyone considering to buy them, this is my review:

an-an:
As the title tells, it’s mainly about breathing and health. 24 out of 122 pages are figure-skating-related (not including the pages related to the anime,) and 9 of them are exclusively about Yuzu. 3 of them consist of 2 photos of Notte Stellata and short text by Mie Noguchi on what Yuzu and Brian went through earlier this season (nothing new), then there are LGC page, H&L page, and 4 UA pages. I found the cover and Notte Stellata photos quite beautiful, but other photos are not so special. It’s not like their quality is subpar, but I think we are spoilt regarding competition photos. But if you can read Japanese and are interested in being healthy by checking the way you breathe, or if you are interested in Koshiro Shimada & Kazuki Tomono, you might find it’s worth reading. All the photos are by Noritoyo Nakamoto.

Nippon Camera:
9 out of 280 pages are about Yuzu. They consist of 13 photos from GPS, GPF, 4CC, and very short text by the photographer praising Yuzu for having high aim. I prefer these photos than those in an-an because they look more journalistic and tell more story. You’ll find Yuzu staring at something during the draw after SP in Skate Canada, then making big smile for press after FS, hugging Brian at NHK Trophy, jumping onto the GPF podium, air-singing in 4CC venue, etc. These photos are by Chikara Takasu.

Demon Eyes too. I feel like with YFAC you also need to choose one that is differentiating enough so you can latch onto it in a scroll through #strategy XD In my short time in YFAC, I always had trouble finding my own posts. Obviously Yata doesn't have that problem.

Agreed re an-an. Mie Noguchi's take on Yuzu hasn't been much different from her previous writing. What's your take on other magazines?? I always like Figure Skating Magazine a lot for the text. And of course ice jewel

This is huge number but not very surprising knowing his popularity. I wonder how many fans follow him to Helsinki this year.

But I sincerely prefer two new programs because there is limited number of new competitive programs left for us .

My guess, Disney probably have to fulfill the stock of Pooh's each competition )))

Ah, I was wrong yesterday ! The competition will be broadcasted live on francetv sport - so we will have commentaries by Annik dumont, Philippe Candeloro and Nelson Montrfort in the end, and I will be able to watch the competition live AND in high definition. As Yuzu would say, "I am very happy now"

And it means probably fun, chatty comments to translate.

wow, what happened at France TV that they suddenly give us more skating in one week-end than they have in the past three years put together?!?

Not that I'm complaining, since I love Les Trois Mousquetaires (well, it's a love/hate relationship, I'm sure you know the feeling ).

Can't wait for them to watch Yuzu's SP and LP so we can finally have their live opinion on them (and not just a few recorded comments afterward).
