He is not doing 5 quads guys. He wants 2x3A in his layout which means either throw in the 4Lz or it's a 4 quad layout.

I wonder if the bauer-3A is just for fun and games or did he really switch things up a bit in his layout.
Too bad they did not upload the planned layout like in junior worlds. Sigh.

I doubt he switched anything. I think he's just working on contingencies.

But, to be honest, I think he was just practicing alternatives. In case, you know, he becomes a popstar. :rolleye:

As much fun 4CC was I would still prefer him to skate clean and stick to the original layout

And you're forgetting the flip
lol yes, I corrected myself in a later post I tend not to think things through before posting or talking sorry :)

Here we go panel is out.
So we have controller from Finland, specialist from USA and assistant from Germany. Actually tech panel has never been problem for Yuzuru because he doesn't have issues there ..judges are playing jokes with him usually. Now I am going to do a little investigation about Kirby what event he judged and how. I never trust NAs except Davis and Santee :roll5:

Yuzuru gave an interview at Fuji after OP it seems. Slay.

(rough trans, and video starts middle of the program)
If you ask why not do the jumps the simple way, that's probably not my style of skating. My skating is to do each element with high quality.

from weibo, the missing part:
- 4CC kuyashii still in my heart, hoping to sweep it away at WC.

- I have practiced well as a response (to 4cc?)
- Kuyashii (from 4CC) remains, I think the WC is for sweeping away that regret.
- "What is my performance?" - that is what I want to put out on this (WC) stage.
- If you ask why not simplify the jumps and just complete the program? That's probably not my style of skating. My skating is to do each element with high quality.
- I think I can bring out the ultimate, that the current me can do... that would be great!

I don't know which event he judged but that man is a pretty big deal, I do know that much. He used to be the head of the Technical Panel Committee and trained a lot of specialists in the US and was one of the people responsible for shaping IJS though if I remember right, he was more a pairs guy.

Yeh the name is pretty big but I don't remember him being in panel for a long time .. or my memory is failing , I decided to look through his competition records if I can find enough info
