Peace everyone :yay::bed: Tomorrow afternoon I will be in Helsinki, and men's practice will probably just have ended  Looking forward to move Yuzu news when I land!

Hey guys! I'm still at practices (though it's winding down and I'm heading out after pairs) but I uploaded Yuzu's whole session to my drive. Last I checked it's still processing, but when it's up, enjoy!

I was sitting next to the 77 year old Aussie fan too, she made me crack up so much with all her comments (called Yuzu a cutie pie).

Finally got a chance to upload my videos now that I'm in hotel wifi. Enjoy 😊.

Whooooohhhh! Thank you thank you Kiches and Danibellerika for uploading yuzu-centric full practice videos! :thank: Please tell me guys that you will also be doing this for the next few days of open practice???? pretty please :luv17: :luv17: Because, you know, YUZU IN UA IS LIFE!!! :luv17: :hap57:

I am REALLY sad because i don't know if i'll be able to watch it live! ISU just confirmed that they won't stream </3 i might be able to watch a live stream from swedish tv (if my black magic works) but for the FS i'm out of ideas right now...

Why is ISU not streaming it? :sad21: The ISU stream has been the most user-friendly for me and it works really well even on my phone(no lags, clear stream). I hope someone will livestream it on youtube. I don't trust other livestreams due to lagging.

I just don't get why the ISU wouldn't stream the MOST IMPORTANT competition of the season :noshake:

ISU sells the rights to broadcasting companies, its how they make money. ISU has never streamed any of the championships....

Yes, but isn't that usually in countries were there is a broadcasting company to sell the rights to? My country has none of those and I've been able to watch Euros and 4 CC this season in their stream... :( oh well

Was there an ISU stream for previous worlds available? I'm in the US so everything is always geo-blocked for me and I never bother to check the ISU links.

My heart wants Yuzu, Javi, Shoma but I would accept this.

Same. No hard feelings but I don't really want Nathan on the podium. At this rate, he'll just keep thinking that as Long as I have many quads and do them relatively fine, I'll be at the top. I really dislike this, I feel like figure skating will go down hill if everyone keeps focusing on jumps :/

I'm in the same boat, there is no one broadcasting FS here, so i don't think it's a righs issue... Ugh, i don't get it, i've seen mny people say that fs is a dying sport and they're certainly not making it easier to get more fans!

I'm not sure because my country just got the ISU stream this season (no idea who had the rights for no reason at all since they never broadcasted a thing anyway), IIRC. But the 2016 Worlds TV and Stream thread says there was.

But well, I haven't had the time to comment on Yuzu's practice session! I'm on the camp that says he will stick to the layout he's been attempting all season. He wants to win, but there is no point in adding even more quads when 1) he would lose his high GOE 3As, and 2) he still hasn't skated a clean program, and adding even more difficulty when he still hasn't been able to fulfill the original layout has the potential to backfire big time. However, given the IB-3A and 4T-Lo-3S attempts, I guess he has a backup plan different from 4 CC to make up the most amount of points (but hopefully he won't have to make use of it!)

On a cheerful note, it made me so happy to see both Tracy AND Brian watching him. An extra pair of eyes (specially from his own coaches) can't hurt
Do we know at what time will the following men's practice begin? Do you think Yuzu will be there or will he attend evening practice today?
Ok the anxiety is starting to kick in now

Yes, there was. I live in a non geoblocked country and it has been really useful since no one is broadcasting any figure skating competition here. I have been using the ISU stream for all gps, gpf and championships since post Sochi because it really works great (no commentary, no lags, crystal clear stream). I remembered they even streamed the 2017 world junior champs earlier this month so I don't know why all of a sudden they won't be streaming WC. :scratch2: And I'm thinking they might also not stream WTT which I think might make it much harder to look for livestream.

I'm probably going to end up streaming on QQ but I'm gonna try CBC with a vpn because QQ tends to be a bit crappy

I have been away from the thread for a bit and I'm so behind, but I'm leaving for Helsinki tomorrow :yahoo: Did all you lovely Yuzu fans make plans for a group photo? Also, I have an extra ice level 1 ticket for the mens SP and I'd be happy to email it to anyone who can use it, free of charge.

Edited to add: ticket has been gifted :)

I'll be so sad about having to watch with commentary though. I'm like AnyaFei >"< the ISU stream just works so much better for me even though I have to VPN into it
