I cried so much watching the video, I can't even imagine what it is to be there and see it live, I'm still shaking with excitement, I just knew he was going to have an amazing fp, yuzu you are always the best to me, and that smile is all I wanted to see in the end of the competition, thank you!!!

IKR? the pressure must've been enormous!
but he got thru all that and pulled thru!
(tbh apart from the mistake with the 4S combo, his SP at worlds was really good! the performance was great and i honestly think he should've gotten higher scores but hey, he still won gold despite all that which makes him even more awesome)
That was the thing, his SP was not a meltdown if you watch the actual performance; with the deduction and the element not being counted the numbers are low but he gave a good performance.
Also today's win overcome the fear/jinx of skating first in the group!! Another plus!
He repeated multiple times how he worked hard/trained hard...gosh I couldn't imagine how hard that must be since you know he is not someone to say "man I train hard!" easily.
I don't think the pressure on him has increased (or decreased) because of this win if we are talking about the Olympics; they will bring up that he is the reigning Olympic champion and that he is the record holder.

Yuzu's highest GOE is 2.71 (4S), 2.43 (4S3T, 4Lo, 4T). Javi's highest GOE is still 3, on his 4T. Shoma's highest GOE is 3 (on 3A). Judges worked hard

i loved hope and legacy since i saw it and i'm SO GLAD to finally see a clean version of it!
even with the mistakes earlier in the season, this is such a nuanced and beautiful program and i feel so happy to be able to see yuzu perfect it here at worlds.
he always puts so much emotion into his performances and i feel so touched watching this program (even in all the earlier versions of this, the mistakes don't change the fact that it's a beautiful program)

he's always felt he shouldn't be allowed to say he trained hard until he got the results for it.

the commentators in the stream i watched said that, yuzu's breaking the WR with his free skate puts pressure on the competitors skating after him
and we saw some mistakes from the competitors that skated after him
the commentators speculated that the pressure probably got to them instead (because they now have to compete with the new WR breaking FS)

what makes him amazing is the fact that he shot straight up to 1st place from 5th after that sp incident

Best podium ever!!!(And Patrick's not there, I still have a chance to see my baby Yuzu!!) I can't stop smiling. That's the face I wanted to see!
Now, we will enjoy our swan at the end of the gala
The tears just can't stop, I feel so proud of him. This is why I love him, this is why he inspires me. He might go one day, but these feelings of joy and the motivation to never give up will always stay in my heart
