I am actually more interested in seeing his 4Lz rather than 4A, 4lo4 or whatever shenanigans he did there. Firstly, if it is in a good shape and quality, it could actually be put in a program. When I first saw his 4Lo in a program during the open practice, it was already good quality and yet he still struggle with it early season. His galas 4Lo from the season before was not yet the quality of his 4Lo at OP so it is nice to see the improvement. 4L zis a jump I have never seen from him and yet it will likely be in his new program, I need the footage more than ever![]()
I am not sure if I want to see the 4A :hopelessness: Don't injure yourself, Yuzu, please.![]()
I want to see it but... I'd like it if he didn't try anything with it this season...
Ya this is what makes me skeptical. It's a big difference between practice and putting a jump in a program and we haven't even seen any in practice yet.
I NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED to see that 4A. There must be footage, you can't have someone trying for a 4A and NOT record it. Can someone please take mercy and release the footage.Skating Gods. I want to believe in the 4A, I really really really want to.
I'm still upset that Yuzuru has apparently done 4S-Lo-4S in run-throughs and we haven't seen one clean yet.
Sorry, just a lot of feelings

Geez, I'm so done, I'm sorry. I will see myself out now...

OTOH, I can imagine him not wanting to reveal it until it is nearly perfected because others are doing it so well. But maybe I'm wrong, because he hasn't shown that type of pride so far.
Tbh, I'm not asking for anything more from him than I've already seen, except for fresh inspiring programs, but can you imagine if he gets this jump? Game over for his rivals.

Not necessarily, depending on what the judges are doing
You also have to remember that Nathan apparently trains the 4Lo and that Shoma seems to now be thinking about a 4Lz (), so I'd rather think Yuzu might even need the 4Lz to not get the 'game over' himself.

I'm not so worried about 4Lz not making an early appearance like 4Lo... I imagine 4Lo needed more mileage on different type ice and rinks for him to stabilize it. 4Lz being a toe jump should be a quicker process? Of course I would love to see footage, any footage ^_^
flutz...

Well, I'd be frightened if I were them. No matter what the judges do, I thought the PCS gap was huge between him and Nathan/Boyang, and big between him and Shoma. I'm a Yuzu uber, after all. I trust him to improve his tech more than I trust them to improve their second mark. Again, the judges will do what the judges will do, but we have our own standards. Who can improve the most? It's an exciting time. And a dangerous one.
Just like Brian learned to trust Yuzu about the 4Loop, I think Yuzu is trusting Brian about avoiding injury. Brian seems fairly certain not everyone will make it to the Olys in one piece at this rate. To me, Boyang seems more stable, and Nathan and Shoma seem a bit more reckless. Javier and Patrick are grownups, and I'm pretty sure they are using their maturity to make wise decisions. Maybe the veterans will be the spoilers instead of the young guns.

I have never seen him land this jump so I can't comment yet on how he will do
But he has practiced it since 2014 and if Max info is right, 60% is far from bad. That one video of his attempt is also not bad cause he got it rotated.
On another note, there are several people he can refer to for 4Lz (Boyang, Nathan, Vincent, Koyada etc to name a few). But nobody really does 4Lo before him (Krasnozhon's was most of the time UR). So for TCC and Yuzu it is really a trial and error game for 4Lo since they are trying to figure out how to do them. While 4Lz, many people has landed it, even junior skaters, thus I think 4Lz would be easier to study and analyze for him. At least there is that.

Yes we know he loves Boyangman's jumps, and I wouldn't be surprised he's been studying his 4Lz like a madman in order to perfect his own![]()
Tru. But since it is Yuzuru he will want to do his 4Lz out of immediate steps so good luck with that lol. But then again if he can land a 4S from a standstill I think 4Lz, which is toepick assisted, out of steps, is not really that :hopelessness:
