There is no reason to think that they didn't have a reunion or conversation in private, and there is no reason why he'd share any deeper emotions about this with thousands of strangers. He was polite, pushed her for her lap and he doesn't have to prove anything to any of us when it comes to personal relationships. Always remember that with, lets call them celebrities, there is a whole private life none of us have access to. He doesn't owe us a glimpse into that.

If you live in Japan, or do not mind subscribing from Japan, I recommend a monthly magazine "Hiragana Times" to learn Kanji, if you are a moderate-level learner with the knowledge of Hiragana letters. I'm not sure about their on-line service.

And, children's books and especially Manga with furigana (hiragana attached to Kanji characters for pronunciation). Actually, Many Japanese children (including me :biggrin: ) master how to read Kanji through these books with furigana. You can enjoy reading them anyway.

Kanji is fun once you understand the structure with meaning. I feel as if solving a quiz sometimes :agree:

But Worlds is one of the more important events so I'm really hoping he'd come because that's the best chance I'll get at seeing him in my life. Do you think he'll come to Worlds 2018? The Olympic is from 9-25 of February and Worlds is from 19-26 of March. Sorry if it sounds like a stupid question because I'm new to the fandom and I don't know how these events work.

*btw, any fellow Tibetan Yuzuru fans out here?? Nevermind.

Welcome! Chances are good Yuzu will go to Italy if he's able. He did go to the Worlds after the won the Olympics and then he won there too. It was at home in Japan, but I think he would have went anyway. Attending that worlds would also help secure 3 spots for Team Japan's men for the following year's worlds in 2019, which will be in Japan again. There will be no shortage of Yuzu fans there, I'm sure.

I took me a while to read all the +20 pages (plus I have to keep up with my "digging in the past" reading too, another 20 pages for today:) )

His 4Lz is :eekn: Amazing height and beautiful technique..that outside edge! :bow:

Yuzu was gorgeous today at the exhibition gala and I loved the LGC encore + his greeting to Prince was very nice to see. :love:

Though it hit me quite hard to hear about Kanako's retirement (but I knew this would come soon....unfortunately), and her goodbye performance to her previous 'Prayer for Taylor' short program was very moving.

I hope Yuzuru gets a well-deserved rest now and then everything will go as planned in the next months. I'm not in a gloomy mood that we won't see him for a while, because I know that he will practice extra hard for the next season, and that is what counts the most. :) Until then there are plenty of gorgeous programs from this season that I can rewatch, plus of course there are so much other Yuzu-related things to do, as well. :)

So basically Japan has Secret Weapon perfect in making Zhenya fall on her jumps :D Also her buns looked really well done so Yuzu has a chance for alternative career as hairstylist
But for real I love friendship between Zhenya and Yuzu

I noticed this, I think it may be because of all the shipping and the videos made by fans, I believe they are both conscious of it, the same thing might have happened with javier, even if yuzu is not aware of all the shipping and what derived from it ( :laugh: I hope he's not) his pr team might be

I am still all :love: about that 4Lz. I have been replaying it from time to time today and every single time I gasp at that height. He just flies up in the air.

It seems to be unavoidable that a Japanese man wearing a happi coat looks like a sales person of electric & home appliances mass retailer such as Yodobashi, Yamada Denki, etc., even if it is Yuzuru.

Yes I know... but that's all. During the finale and after she was watching him and seemed to be waiting for some kind of interaction that didn't happen.
But I don't want to sound gloomy, it just saddened me a bit - the only thing that wasn't perfect today really.
And maybe he just waited afterwards and didn't want to steel the spotlight from her, idk.

Even with this landing he can put it in a program!! Maybe just the free skate ;)
 
I also replay yuzu 4lutz a lot today is just so:love:, I only wish they had a lateral view of his 4lutz because yuzu jumps cover so much ice I really wanted to see, but they gave us the video so I won't complain :)
