Honestly I believe this is the worst time to branch out, judges tend to be quite conservatives in their music tastes ... but after the olympics, if he decides to continue,I'd love see him say sc**w the judges and try new things
I agree that the Olympic season isn't really the time to experiment. Luckily the last two seasons we got quite a bit of experimentation and I've enjoyed it all from Yuzu.
Also agree that judges seem to be conservative in their musical taste. This is slightl off-topic, I think that's partially why Maia and Alex Shibutani's SD didn't score very high throughout the season. They allowed hip-hop for the first time in ice dance, and for me the Shibutani's took a risk in doing That's Life and mixing in Jay-Z, it was one of the more modern approaches to hip-hop in ice dance last season. I assumed that ultimately the intent of making hip-hop an option may have been to draw a younger audience base to skating and maybe some innovation. Instead I feel we got a lot of "oldie" type of hip hop, that was a lot more safe and probably in line with what the judges may have listened to themselves in the 80s or 90s, and clearly those music choices resonated with them (ex: Prince, MC Hammer, Salt-N-Pepa, Michael Jackson, etc) more than Sinatra/Jay-Z. Sadly I don't think the Shibutani's risk paid off in the SD this season, which is why music choice is so important and the time for experimentation is before the Olympic season. All of this, is of course, my two cents.

Just please no La La Land. I loved the movie and the music but it will be so overused next season
I wonder if he's working on it these days. Last thing we knew he was in Canada, Jeff and DW were busy with SOI IIRC, but if he is still working with Shae Lynn she seems available (I think she just finished Elena's SP a few days ago).
He maybe preparing also a new EX to show it at FaOI.
I really don't care much about NDP, but I believe now he could do more justice to RJ2. Somehow I doubt he will bring it back as an EX for next season.

While making the above translation, it struck me how much of a fan Nishioka-san is of figure skating, he talked about Boyang -and it wasn't about his quads, he talked so enthusiastically about Jason and Misha, clearly enjoyed their skating, and probably wanted to talk another hour. Like all of us.
While I don't like Fuji as TV station, I prefer their announcers to Asahi's. More knowledge and less shouting
It was funny that during the interview after Nationals 2015, Mr. Nakamura (C2 in the translation) was surprised and happy when Yuzuru thanked him for learning the rules of the sport.- Joined

While I don't like Fuji as TV station, I prefer their announcers to Asahi's. More knowledge and less shouting

Okay...I've been secretly listening to A LOT of the Little Price soundtrack here https://youtu.be/bRYrmBVcu2g?list=PLnyQ-VHzWrDbBfSxlWkYPlFCQILBvufNw Trapped Star, Finding the Rose , Equation are really nice. But none of the music have a perfect length and probably require quite a bit of editing to fit.
Initially I thought this was more Mai Mihara music...but now with the starry night costume, and that he does look good in blue, I'm thinking if Yuzuru can pull off this music too. It does seem a tad bit calm for him though.
The other crazy idea I had was what if Yuzuru skated to Swan Lake? Even though it's traditionally a ladies FS warhorse, somehow I can imagine him pulling it off, especially after the swan EX...what would he wear then?
