Hmm that might be hard for her to win if Higuchi has two 3Lz-3T combos... does anyone know the planned program content?

If Alina doesn't change her layout and Wakaba will have similar content to the one from WTT there will be 2 points of difference in BV in Alina's favour (I'm talking about FS). Judges may be more generous for Wakaba in case of PCS but she isn't the most consistent skater and she has issues with flip.

Liza's 3A is back. If she is in her form from 2015 Worlds she might be hard to beat

from what i know Wakaba will attempt 3A in FS, idk if she will do at lombardia, but considering this is warmup comp before GP so i think she will. without 3A her current BV is almost 63, while Alina BV is 66 (64.01 from junior and you add 2 points for ChSq) Wakaba with clean 3A BV would be around 67-68 depend on how much jump in 2nd half, so still not much different with Alina. if Alina clean she can beat Wakaba unless she's clean with 3A

and most likely Alina will do 3Lz3lo and 3f in her SP all in second half.

Absolutely agree. It's very beautiful program. I'm sure Alina will make it to the Olympics.
 
I love this SP more than her last SP. It feels more mature. We have to remember that it was her first time in test skates and she did so well ! Amazing girl! I hate prediction games and dont want to ruin anything for her. But from what we've seen I'm sure she can fight for podium at any competition. Can we see her dress already???

We'll see Alina very soon. At the next week will start Lombardia Trophy. (14.09.2017 - 17.09.2017). :)
