I think Polina's a safer bet than Anna if the Russians want an Olympic podium sweep.

They have the heartbeat at the beginning too.Well, Evgenia skated very well but the ending is really not necessary. I guess they added heartbeat sound at the end and she was gasping air. Less is more.
Hmm I know Mikhailova is announced for CoR but I kinda wished they had withdrawn Konstantinova from Juniors and shoved her in that CoR spot. Next year it will be only be more difficult for her to move up. Her PB from last season was not bad either, internationally 187 last year while Mikhailova got 182 domestically.
Or Alisa Fedichkina, actually. For that matter, Alisa Lozko's spins are amazing to watch and if she did not have that aborted foray into pairs, would have loved to have her in the CoR host pick spot also.
Mikhailova isn't awful per se, just that there are others who are more interesting to watch and also have achieved more at the international stage (she had two JGP's in 2015-16 season and was unable to podium in either of them)
So... Nana's mission is completed. Stanislava with bronze medal (and only 182 points) is hardly contender for the second spot. Alena's spot is safe now, I suppose.

Alena has to win gold or silver with 185+ on her first outing to get another spot.
