With C/T I can't help but think about something mentioned on TSL in their NHK recap -- why do the same thing over and over and expect a different result?

It's a big assumption of mine to assume C/T's team _hasn't_ tried something new but it just feels like deja vu at this point with their SBS jump issues.. It's frustrating as a fan and even more, I'd imagine, for them. What does the solution look like?

In the GS interview Dylan seemed like it was definite. No debate. He is retiring. I got the feeling she might be too.

But he's, ya know, old for figure skating standards that's why I'm asking.

Literally only the SBS jumping

And that has stopped them from really ever getting the momentum that they would've otherwise

It's a little more than the SBS jumping. C/T are only doing a throw triple salchow in the SP, and if you're going to do an easier throw in the SP, it needs to be fantastic. But it's not a particularly strong throw for them. I wasn't a lover of Castelli with Shnapir, but their throw salchow was at least stronger/bigger.
