Satoko Miyahara

I cried tears of joy when she finished her program. After all of what she's been through, no one deserves more than her the spot.

I am so glad for Satoka that I am doing my happy dance. She has done it to me again. Satoka has the ability to draw me into her program that I lose all sense of time and
before I know it she is into her final spin. Satoka was glorious today simply the Best! :hap85:

Congratulation to the Tiny Queen!

I has tears in my eyes when I watched her skate today and I almost cried when I saw her and Coach Hamada's reactions when she finished. (Well I probably am going to actually cry in my room when I rewatch later.) This is the most emotional skate I have ever seen from her. Every gesture, every expression and choreography is filled with profound thoughts and mature poise. I am just mesmerised. Congratulations on your fourth consecutive(!) victory!! Queen of Japan!!:yahoo::clap:

- Quoted from Sandra Bezic: "Celebrate the performance!"

I am so proud of her! Some people take for granted the ability to even get to the Olympics at at all to compete. I just know that Satoko will soak in every moment she is there and make it count.

I keep watching his programs especially step step sequence, I'm proud of her. it will silence its XD haters:love::yahoo:
Oh, they're still yapping :rolleye:. But that's their problem. Onto the Olympics, Tiny Queen!!! :yahoo::yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

To come back from an injury as serious as the one Satoko had is quite a feat! Kudos to her for her work ethic and determination. Finally got caught up on watching the ladies' programs. I was in tears watching her and Coach Hamada. I realized again today while watching her FS that I've always liked her facial expressions. She is expressive without using some of the "over the top" looks that have become so common. Congratulations!

unfortunately we can not please everyone :)
I like his relationship with his coach is touching. it does not surprise me of her words she is a hard worker

for me she's likely to make a podium when she's not in the UR because she's really an arthist on the ice and she at this faculty of turning both ways do it.

I watched her old programs she really change a lot since her junior season.

That was a quote from as recent as October. Mie Hamada thought she was so behind the schedule and lacking in jump practice that there was no way she was going to make up for the lost time so quickly. Satoko said "of course I want to go to the next Olympics in 2022 because I'll be a better skater then than I am now but I also want to go to this Olympics." Which I guess also clarifies her future prospects. She's here to stay!

I have yet to say anything about her performance but all I can say at the moment is that I cried just like Hamada when I watched it live. It was the most emotional and inspirational skate of her career.

It's just unbelievable that she is now at the peak of her career, after all she's been through...

I think her jumps still aren't as stable as they were before, she didn't have rotation problems on the loop and the lutz and/or flip tend to lean forward but she skates with a lot more abandon and emotion now. I hope she'll get some time to rest and hopefully fix what she can without getting other injuries. She's in such a fragile position.

I consider it a huge privilege to see our Tiny Queen at the Olympics. I'm so excited for her and I'm glad she made it.

Lol Shoma’s face was like “Uh, what...?”
I’m proud and happy for Satoko! There was no doubt to me that she’d win and be selected for the Team, after she finished her program. I was like Hamada, thinking “She did it!”.
I’m not very happy that she’s selected for every competition, tho. 4CC, Olympics, Worlds and surely Team Event... i’m guessing that’s her choice, but still... I hope it won’t be too tiring for her.

Satoko at the Olympics and all is well again :cheer: I wouldn't know what to do if her injury sidelined her 2018 Olympic dream, it's truly amazing how fast she's recovered to get this far! And now I think she is putting even more emotion, heart, and soul into her skating because of what she's gone through which is a true gift for us skating fans :luv17:

Haters will hate,
Skaters will skate,
Satoko's Olympic dream
Will make us searching for stream!

Hooot hooot! :cheer::dance2::party2::hb:

I just rewatched Satoko's free and got goosebumps all over again. From the first time I saw her programs this season I realized that they deserved to be seen on Olympic ice. I'm so thrilled that the world will get that chance :hap93:

:yes2::yes2::yes2:Yeaaaaah Satton!!! Our selected Olympian. Hope she can have a great preparation, and show haters what she's made of. May she perform wonderfully at the Olympics and can perform well too at 4CC and Worlds. Guess the word "tired" does not exist for our tiny queen:biggrin:

I really hope to see interaction between Satton and Yuzuru. But, did Satton perform a collab with Keiji? They look sooo good skating together:love:. Can someone tell me where to watch? I tried to search but haven't found the full vid.

All the best to Satton!!! So happy to see her cheerful self
