I do not know. (But he will probably go tomorrow? Into his Sunday. Only an hour's difference I believe, so, no problem.)
On the other hand I want to sleep, hibernate for the next month. (skate-hibernate) I want to see everything, but I want to sleep through it! ...This is part of the enjoyment maybe.

He probably is going just before the competition practices start. Japan is only 1 hour ahead of Taipei. In previous competitions, he would go the week before to acclimate to the time zone, but he doesn't need to do that here. He can get more ice time at home (then go to his favorite darts/billiards place after practices!), rather than having to "rent a rink" in Taipei.

The ISU official document shows that the accommodations and meals for 4CC are covered beginning with Sunday, Jan. 21 dinner and ending with Sunday, Jan 28 lunch. First practice day is Monday, Jan. 22. Hooray! That means we should be getting some news fairly soon! Will the Prince hold any babies in the airport? Which SP costume will he wear? Has he had his hair cut and colored? Which face will he bring? How is his condition? Will poor Dad Keiji have to share a room with Shomita? Will Fluffy wear the pink coat?! Inquiring minds want to know! :luv17:

Maybe he's exaggerating? I mean, 20 full run throughs in one DAY would already be a lot, never mind one SESSION. And if he does do that, there really shouldn't be a stamina issue! [emoji16] It also might explain why Javi watches him skate during practices ("He's doing yet another run through?!!).
After this dry spell, I'm glad 4CC is this week! I also am wondering which SP costume he'll wear? [emoji1]

A while ago, Shoma said he could run both programs twice a day for two days and on the third day he couldn't move. I don't think he meant he was completely immobile, but I think that 5 quad program was too much. His body was trying to tell him something! Super anxious to see what layout he'll use here at 4CC.
:agree2: Hooray -- they're on their way!! Really happy to see their masks. ETA -- I'm hoping for the gray SP costume ( with BLACK pants, of course

but the first is a sketch of the original glamorous looking two,
next is Hanyu and Orser "variation" showing Hanyu as very light on the bed and Orser heavier on the floor,
and the final "variation"!,
