I appreciated the government shutdown reference. Probably the most political thing Jason will say. I'm looking forward to seeing his programs and hope he will do them as well as we all know he can do them!

Jason has a natural knack for telling jokes out of current events - especially in a non "pick sides" kind of way. I think it's one of things his fans love about him!

And this is the first shutdown during my retirement years. Before, since I was never essential (big surprise) I always stayed home. But now I don't need to stay glued to the news to see when I'm being called back

Haha. Retirement is nice, no? Hubby just got the call saying he has to report in the morning so that he can be told in person to go home. That's crazy, especially since the roads are going to be treacherous due to snow.

So, any chance we will have practice reports from 4CC?

I think I read that practices are closed? Which means probably not. We did get some stuff last year, though not a ton, so maybe that’s wrong.

Thanks all for the Jason updates over the last week! I enjoyed learning more about Audrey Weisiger and think her personality and coaching style sounded like they were just what Jason needed for a short term change of pace.

The program content/music selection PDFs are up on ISU Four Continents page and Scent of Love is listed for his free skate instead of Inner Love. He's also not attempting a quad.

Along with his skating, I'm looking forward to Jason grinning with Grant, high-fiving with Han and shoulder-shimmering with Shoma. I'm sure someone can come up with alliterations for the other guys.

ETA: It looks like the layout will be similar to the Team Challenge Cup free skate from 2016 except switching around the 2nd triple axel and double axel.

I love The Piano program, so that's cool -- I hope they don't dump the other program for good or they keep it for next season, it's a really lovely program.

If I were to guess why, there's probably a desire to go back to a program that Jason is more comfortable with. Although I think this season's free skate is lovely, you got the sense that he wasn't 100 percent on it. And probably given the meltdown at nats, maybe it's good to give some distance from it.

Second 3A aside, he looks pretty good, if a bit rusty with this program. I do love it.

Now I’m curious if he’ll also revert to the Sam Smith SP. Probably not, but I personally wouldn’t mind at all.

Stupid question :hopelessness::

I can see Chloe's other Instagram stories -- such as the thing about forgetting to take a photo with Jason. And the panel (if that is the right term?) before, which says her streaming of men's practice is posted (but does not show the streaming). And yet another panel before, which shows a mini-glimpse of Shoma stroking and Jason stroking.

But I do not see any panel that has archived streaming of Jason's program. And I have no idea why. What am I doing wrong?​
