I want to see those new costumes in color. Gaby's looks a bit different too, the shape is less puffy maybe. So the sleeve joke turn out to be true, well first thing which popped in my mind was how accentuated his lines look which is a great thing in Latin. The V is so well V he just can't stay fully dressed

Not much new in the article but for the fact Guillaume's family has a tradition of dancers and gymnasts. He compares himself to Billy Elliot being a kid, he was dancing everywhere. And he found ice dancin by chance.
I like how Gaby is described: "she is has complete trust, almost in a fascinating state of abandon" Romain also says she often ends in a trance or maybe a daze would be a better translation.

So I watched a competition vid to make sure. In gabis old costumes, the top went from light to dark, in this recent photo, it seems to go from dark to light. Idk, maybe it’s just the filter he’s using that made that effect.
I can't really see it enough... I guess I'll have to wait for better pictures or simply the SD

Examining the b/w picture more closely, I think you are absolutely right. The golden pieces that finish the top and the skirt just seem very close together and in b/w become almost indistinguishable from her skin colour.
It's safe to assume that the 30 hours of work have not been put in the waste-bin.

Bedtime for me I guess. I'm going bonkers over some ice dance goddess's SD dress. Enlightenment is around the corner obviously.
Lol, same here. Although I worry about a potential change in her FD dress...
But have to admit I kind of like the change of Guillaume's costume for the short dance, even though the previous one was great - matched the songs... We'll see on Monday. Or hopefully sooner in a practice video.

Me too ! Well, Olympics are a different story everyone is watching (though the V-neck compensate but not as much haha)
And his V-neck does not even go plunging all the way down as they apparently do in the Latin ballroom pics below. Let's just say he is playing it 'safe' enough. LOL.

I pretty much gaped at the first picture. I'm glad they didn't try to overdo the V-neck because having it through to the pants just doesn't look quite right LOL. I do like the new sleeves because I think we'd be able to see his lines better. But yes, I'm now wondering if there's a change up with her FD dress as well.
So much to think about just looking at their costumes! I'm now wondering if I'd rather be surprised next week or to get a sneak peek through some practice video.
It's hard to judge that on a B&W pic but colors (green & gold) on the top of Gaby's SD dress were inverted and this change sounds quite great
As for Guillaume, he has a new top as you all saw but he may try another one at next practice. Let's see!
