Jason Brown

Excited to see Jason skate again!

I'm thinking that second photo is Palm Springs, too. And I bet he's working with Anthony Liu with maybe some supplemental lessons from Frank. Anthony's worked with Jason quite a bit I think since he was young (I recall that Kori brought Jason to Lake Arrowhead to work with him in the summers) so it won't be a sudden change.

Anthony Liu played a sizable role in making Tatsuki Machida competitive and Tatsuki was a bit of a late bloomer in the jumping department, so this is a good move, if my theory is correct.

Machida makes me think that it would be kind of fun to see Phillip Mills choreograph a program for Jason.

I’m curious to see who will put him on the ice at Worlds - Kori? And whether he’ll keep Piano.

So happy to see Jason skate again:hap57:

But so many questions:biggrin:

Anthony Liu sounds reasonable (so many folks here who know what Palm Springs looks like ;) ) but here’s another idea: Frank and Kori in the KnC? looks like D10 is still listed....

And selfishly I hope for the Piano. Inner Love isn’t soup yet, and Jason is so much more confident with the Piano, it seems.

And OT, but as for 7K Alumni ... Romain Ponsart? post Oly Worlds is a wonderful thing ....

I'm in for the possibility of a Phillip Mills :) program for Jason.

(Speaking of theories, Jason's latest Instagram is reminding me of one that I mentioned to you in San Jose. ;))

Haha, google image searches are wonderful things. :) I'm thinking now that all the pictures posted in the last two days are from Palm Springs, but when were they taken? Emily was with him in Park City and may have gone on to Palm Springs with him like she did the previous two winters. So maybe the pics were from 2 weeks ago. Also, I would have expected him to be wearing the USA shirt during the Games, but not necessarily now, like in these pics. So many possibilities. I need to focus on more important things, like getting dressed.

I am so excited that he is coming back to Italy :luv17: too bad it is unlikely that I will be there for him :tantrum: In any case it is a wonderful news that we will get to see him skate one more time this season. I am pretty sure he will do the Piano. He will definitely aim to finish the season on a positive note, and he is much more confident with the Piano - the program is much loved among his fans, and Inner Love has never perfectly clicked and sort of left a negative vibe.
Curious mind is curious though... who is with Jason in the latest IG shot????

Someday the bathroom remodelers will be out of my house and I won’t be on my iPad non-stop. Today is not that day:biggrin:

I think the latest IG is of Jason and Emily Oltmanns (not that I really recognize her, but someone said “Hi Emily” in the comments). Is Emily leaving 7K too? Or just helping Jason move? In fact, I’m not really sure what she did at 7K, but I’m sure someone else knows:laugh:

ETA: and Rosa74 types faster and knows more:agree:

I've actually seen a lot of photos of Palm Springs recently as a co-worker went on vacation there recently. It's actually kind of a cool, artsy place. There's a big movie festival and lots of mid-century architecture. It's on my list of future vacation destinations.

Emily Oltmanns, IIRC, was a coach at 7k. I believe she also has co-custody of Hamilton the dog, LOL.

She is still a coach at 7K - she coaches younger, developing skaters.

I didn't meant to sound like she wasn't currently, just chose the wrong word....grammar is not my friend, LOL.

But it brings up a burning question--so will Jason have to separate from the dog?!

I've been sitting here glued to my laptop waiting for notification that I DID NOT win the lottery for Hamilton tickets for tonight, which just came in, so I'm out of here! Got about 25 more chances to go. :)

Hamilton can visit him. :)

I going to see it March 11 in Seattle! And it turns out my friend has a friend in the show (he plays George Washington, IIRC), so we're going to get to go backstage, which is exciting.
