Thanks, Synian but I'm actually in the US, so it shouldn't be a problem. When I clicked on the FD, it just said that the material had been removed ... (????). Go figure!
I can still access to it but I had to try 3 or 4 times to see it ...

They've been training exclusively with him while back in Montreal during the first week of the Olympics. Maybe now V/M are off doing their thing, MFD and Patch will take over more intensively, focusing on both P/C and H/D, plus the Danes (I know they're skating for Canada but they will always be the Danes to me) won't compete. H/D have a high chance of getting silver if they skate at their full potential.
They were so ready for the Olympics, I think it's more a question of getting back into serious conditioning and refocusing their attention to competition after such a long break off ice.

Can someone translate Tatiana Tarasova's commentary at the end of the G & G FD ? Just by his intonation, we feel an emotional shock that wins. His tone is that of a stunned person, she speaks softly, in a voice totally captivated by the previous minutes.

You're absolutly right ! Nothing is forced, they don't ham things up (unlike their main rivals...hum!). They seem to have worked a lot on their relationship on the ice this season. Both of their programs this year (either it is the latin sd or moonlight sonata) enhance an undeniable sensuality. But as you pointed it out, it's not over the top - They respond beautifully to each other's touches, the softness of their movements is unmatched, and it reveals how much they respect and love each other. And how much they know each other's body as well. It's so precious.
I mean, Gabriella said they worked on eroticism with their mental coach this year, and they learnt how to look at each other. I personally think you can definitely tell the difference (in comparison to their previous programs). I can't wait to see their tango next season !

Then among other things: "No words", "Art in its pure form", "Two people who live this grand music". She also praises their coaches for the program. The man, Grishin, uses the word "phenomenon" which Tarasova repeats and continues that even at the start of the season they were unbeatable in her eyes. Talking about the stationary lift: "This spinning, my God! They turn and turn and you don't understand what is going on", "What a GREAT program" (as in Alexandre le Grand, not just 'very good'
At one point, when they show a closeup of Gabi's face, she instantly says "How truly beautiful she is" (the literal translation is "What a beauty she is" but the word for 'beauty' that she uses is a stronger one than say 'pretty', it's more formal and a better compliment). I think this is nice, because usually commentators tend to mention Guillaume's looks and then only sometimes add a side comment about Gabi as well.

Actually it's unlike pretty much everyone. You'll find a lot of teams, together in real life or not that are doing the typical thing, and it can work well unless you've seen that for years and years and years of figure skating. But this is very unique this tenderness, I love it. It's not destined to be sexualized but very sensual, it's not a gesture where you go "OMG look what they did !", but more like "woaaa...".
Sometimes they say when they perform that they are so connected, almost as if it's both of them and no one else, I guess that makes the difference between showing the audience and almost living it.
That also makes me think when commentators say that they are one on the ice, they skate like one entity, not a team of 2 people, not one presenting the other, but that it's hard to pick them up.
