My question is why Tomono as replacement and not Mura?? Mura not training already?

I've heard Mura was still training but it was before the Olympics. Seeing his news on twitter, he has been busy with other events (not figure skating related) and so on, so maybe he declined? (I'm afraid of hearing his retirement news )

I wonder if Yuzuru skips all the shows before the summer, he will do the talk shows for sure though.

Glad Yuzu will take care of his health and rehabilitate his ankle without rushing things.

Im a little sad because I will be at worlds and I doubt I’ll ever get another chance to see Yuzuru live, since most skating events are so far from me

I hope Orser again will 'convince'(ehem ) Yuzu to skip the ice shows like the time of the left foot injury. Like Orser said the last time, if Yuzu does shows, he'll want to do quads, then there comes the injuries again.

If we see Orser start losing hair again, we'll know Yuzu is up to his driven and ambitious self again.

Peroneal Tendon it seems is the one connected to outside of the foot/bone

He did have tendon inflammation at one point during his recovery, so it's not a surprise there was tendon damage too. He didn't seem to have much weakness or instability on his right ankle with the way he was landing quads, so hopefully it's just sort of tendonitis and not a tear or other worse things. 3 months give or take seems like a good prognosis, at this point.

Fortunately it doesn't seem surgery is a required treatment.
