I love watching this show, and thank you so much to those of you who have provided links and translations. I wish wish wish that the US would adopt a similar show. Something to bear in mind is it is very difficult to skate on a studio sized rink. I used to hate it. I think these kids are amazing.

Hey, new to this forum BUT loving it. I’d forgotten what an absolute legend, and hottie, Alexei is [emoji5] so nice to see that he’s still so loved.
So despite not speaking a word of Russian I’ve been watching the ice age kids on YouTube.. does anyone know if there are subtitles for it? I noticed that they’ve just put subs on his interview with Medvedeva which was great to watch. Also slightly off topic but has anyone watched his “secrets to a million” interview with Tatiana? I’d love to see it with subs. Thanks!

I've watched "A secret which costs a million". I wouldn't say, that this show is interesting. Most of the questions are ordinary questions. Only the last question is in a letter-cover. People say, that almost nobody answer their last question.
Alexei was together with his wife, usually a guest comes to this show alone, but they like to come together. Alexei gave the letter-cover to Tatiana, she opened, they looked at the question together, Tatiana gave it back to Alexei, so that he could answer or not answer. Alexei said: "I don't think, that it can destroy something, but it can spoil. What for would we spoil all what was not easy to get in our life? What for would we bring some negative to the happiness which we have now?" Tanya also was asked, she said: "We were extremely sincere, but..." Alexei: "something should stay for us." Tatiana: "Something should stay for us."

Oh, I don't mean, that something new has happened. Alisa is the girl which fell, they were the last pair who were skating. (I just didn't open Averbukh's Instagram before, I saw his post only today.)

awesome thanks for the links I’ll enjoy watching those [emoji5]. I’ve watched the secrets which cost a million a few times lol, kind of got the jist of some of it, of course they ask about Tarasova and Plushenko etc. would be interested to know what he says about his dad though
I don't remember, of course, but I think he said, that his father had left them when Alexei was 4 years old, and that his father called him to congratulate on winning the Olympic gold, not after the Olympics, but a year later. (These are usual answers.)
