Nathan Chen

I was having a debate with others about the Very Wang costume. That was why I was searching for the side by side video. Such a classic example of how a poor choice of costume can reduce your artistic effectiveness.

Agree with you. My favorite FS performance in this season is RC, not WC...lol

I’ve seen this piece on IG, it was circulating for the last week glad he received it.

Tonight’s show seems low key compare to RI maybe because it’s a Thursday? Chocolate Hershey tomorrow :)

That and it's a smaller town that had a smaller crowd. And this is one of the first times the show has been there in awhile.

Thanks everyone for news and links.

the thread is moving so fast! was this already posted?

Fabulous Finale video from Amy Wu.
Huge thanks to Ms. Wu for her Providence vids, esp. for being able to see Nathan in a good portion of this finale group number.

To anyone on this list who plans to generously record videos for us in the future... first of all, thank you very very much! secondly, please consider your phone / camera's storage capacity and battery life! :) If you plan to record many favorite skaters, your phone may give out by the time Nemesis comes around (since it's the last number before the finale).

:)

oh speaking of which,
I just remembered I wanna share one thing and for that Japanese questionnaire I still cannot figure it out, but I will vote my fav senior program of Nathan is of course "Last Dancer". Japanese fanclub can count one vote from here:biggrin:
A lovely friend and Nathan fan made a video montage using Nathan's OG and WC free. but changed music to one Chinese classic "Butterfly Lovers" she edited the music and it seems Nathan's first coach Ms Grosscup loves Butterfly Lovers and Chinese dance/acrobatics.
it is really good. I think Nathan's Mom may really love it.

I cried a little, when watching this especially Nathan's facial expression in his OG performance, I watched is so many times, it etched into my heart.

EDIT: HERE it is 6 perfect clean quads.

Huge thanks to your friend for making the video and thank you for bringing it to the thread.

The timing is well done, and I'm especially impressed that your friend found a piece of music that fits the sharp movements from Nathan's Rite of Spring section.

Can any of the video experts here *please* teach me how to download from vimeo? Thank you very much.

Oh right, because this is the OG year scheduled with more towns.

Thank you so much!:thank:

with all due respect i don't think i would enjoy those huge balloon sleeves. it would be nice to have something like the sleeves he wore for his Chopin program. i've long disliked the faux ruffles of the shirt but i like the sleeves very well because i can see the entirety of his beautiful hands.

if going for this effect, the sleeve from his Kreisler Prelude and Allegro program would be much more suitable, IMHO.

Wow so many pages to read, I really can't keep up with all new stuff:) thank for sharing videos, I suppose today job routine will suffer lack of attention but I have to read all:)
