I love her new manicure. Really stylish (for a stylish girl) Glad to see her enjoying the weather, the birds singing, the upcoming holiday, subtle avoiding (and ofc with a big smile) the Zhenya-related questions. Classy girl! :thumbsup: I did not know these 2 hobbies of her (bycicle riding and badminton.)

That's why I'm unable to read "The Edge" threads and Zhenya's thread. Not to mention that flame war there keeps me away and that it's just boring to read 1578642th comment, where user is too frantic (changed because I admit that my previous words were not proper for this thread and forum even if I didn't use any explicit term, my apologize ) over Orser's name
As was said, this is the most quiet and normal thread here now...

I think he's just bad at talking with media(as well as others in the team). I don't think he meant anything bad.

He is just another sufferer of the "foot in mouth" disease, seems to be going around at the school. Thankfully Alina is imune to that so she is super fine.

And based on his subsequent response to being called out on VK, I'd say he only takes his foot out of his mouth to shoot himself in it!

The funny thing is I remember when Alina's PC scores began increasing another poster did an analysis comparing the upward trajectory of Alina's PCS with Zhenya's PCS in her senior debut season. Guess what? The numbers were remarkably similar percentage wise.

But it was all well and good when it was Zhenya's PCS sky-rocketing. It was fine when Zhenya was winning senior competitions at 15!

But now that it's Alina, the international judges are just wrong. They are to blame for this! And I suppose all of the international commentators (CBC, British Eurosport, etc), going all the way back to Cup of China, who said it was entirely possible that Alina could be the Olympic champion. That she was potentially unbeatable.

I can't judge the choreographer's intentions because I don't know them. However, his communication skills could use some work.

I must rely only on the translations but I really don't think he intended to say anything bad about Alina (neither Zhenya). Why not just close "Zheleznyakov theme" (and transfer-realated theme) and move to some nice things, for one week it's enough of all this.

That's fair. And a good idea! I'm guilty of posting quite a bit about Zheleznyakov because his interview infuriated me and his subsequent response didn't help! But I agree he probably didn't have any bad intentions toward Alina. And if he did it is his problem. He would have to be a complete fool to publicly take a 'dig' at Alina right now.

Hopefully we get some nice vacation pics from Alina!

Jesus... Zheleznyakov corrected himself after he said "correct judging", which the journalist didn't care to omit. Now the whole thread calls him a passive-aggressive dick who attacks his students.

People just gone insane with all this story. Why don't you take an example from Alina and be more attentive and less aggressive towards people?

from the poster who thinks Alina is just an Evgenia "copycat" - and no don't come back with "I never said copycat" - the implications was clear....

She's clearly adopting manners, wordings and intonations from Zhenya.

When she was saying thanks at the end, I looked to me like someone loaded Zhenya's program into Alina's model.



I'm not comparing Alina with Zhenya, I'm comparing Alina now and a year ago.

I actually think he may have calmed down/sobered up/taken a valium or whatever. He posted again in Alina's fan vk page kind of backtracking/clarifying and he sounded much more rational and nicer toward her fans. And the fans who responded seemed receptive to him. So there's that.

Zhelenyakov, if you are lurking here, I really enjoyed your samurai routine choreography. And you are good dancer. (Because flowers make everything better.) :dev2:

I swear this has been longest, most drawn out, puppy gifting in the history of international puppy giftings!

I know - Masaru will be ready for social security by the time she arrives.

But it's good because this gives Alina & her family time for whatever vacation they have planned.

Probably, it's a Japan style, then I stay in Tokyo hotel , one day I came back from the city
and my room was closed becouse of cleaning.. One guy told me- please wait 10 minutes ,don't go away, soon will be ready ,
after 10 min he came out from the room and said- please wait 10 minutes , don't go away,soon will be ready..
its happend 8 times , 1 and a half of hour I stay near the room because he believed that his work is not a perfect!!!
For this I got 2 free hours for adult channel from hotel administrator

Everything should be perfect!
