I have a legitimate question, I’m not trying to toss shade around or be snarky, but have any of Eteri’s “big name” students left her on good terms? I’m trying to remember all the skaters from the last quad who moved elsewhere, and I’m drawing a blank as to whether or not any of them had a peaceful departure.

I don't know if it's "Big name students" but Serafima Sakhanovich and to some extent Adian Pitkeev had a "peaceful" departure I think.
Sima had to leave eteri because no one is going to look after her at moscow because her mom need to go back at st.pettersburg,and they were also robbed many times at their apartment in moscow back then. She was crying because she doesnt want to leave the group. Thats what i know.
Guys can we please tone down on the “rumor says that....”, “my russian friend told me that.....” punchlines if they are just speculations/hearsay without any basis. I know many ppl are happy to blame eteri for all the issues they don’t like about ladies skating right now, but this is really getting a bit out of control. There way too many “insider info” floating around on all the russian forums/vk groups, and it doesn’t help that most of us are bounded by the language barrier, I really don’t wish to come to gs see this place turning into a 2nd hand rumor mill.
But great thanks to all the people that bring us the translations of russian news. It has been a crazy time indeed and I hope all the skaters will settle in their new training base and turn their focus onto the new season!

Remember how Evgenia leaving Eteri for Orser wash "just a baseless rumour"? Virtually all rumours circulating lately got confirmed. If it's coming from a known insider who has been right in the past, and especially multiple sources, it's worth listening to. Nobody has denied there was a conflict, even people who like Eteri and are kind of meh on Polina.
Just because that rumor did turn into reality, it does not prove all rumors are true and I certainly don’t want this to become a free for all throw out any rumors that came along the way, some are not even rumors but just misinformation based on some ppl’s rather poor memories.
How about this, if people are so confident that all the rumors will eventually become the truth, let’s wait until then to discuss. Surely you can wait a little longer for the truth to be revealed.

maybe Polina feel uncomfortable there? Also Gubanova is not even confirmed getting any GP spot (i hope she get COR host pick tho) so we wont know how she'll fare in senior. Also Gubanova does have good artistry but her jumps is not the best, even though its quite consistent. Polina have big jumps but can bombs sometimes and her artistry can be improved. Radio jumps is kinda inconsistent now and she relies more with PCS so if Gubanova/Polina can land consistently i bet Radio will be behind them. Also Sotskova place as Russian #3 is not safe either, she prone to URs (even tho quite often overlooked... same with Radio). Before moving to Buyanova Polina have almost minimal chance to become Russia #3 because its almost impossible 3 skaters are from 1 coach (look at ladies JWC team, even with 4 Eteri junior in JGPF only 2 make it to JWC team) But now its open chance for her

Why are you so sure?
I dont know if this is a smart move for polina too,buyanova has a lot of skaters who has a lot of potential to be russias#3 and my bet is for Gubanova,but what about radionova and sotskova whats going to happen to them when polina is also on there team?

I honestly don't get this argument. Yes, Polina shares her coach with three other strong ladies (Maria, Elena, Nastya). But in Eteris camp there was Alina, who's a clearer favorite ahead of Polina then any of Buyanovas ladies are. Panenkova might move up to seniors next season, and while she flew under the radar, she's very consistent with good technical content and great jump quality. And then look only one year ahead and the current junior wondergirls will likely move up, or at least a good number of them (Sasha, Alyona, Nasty T., Anna). And that will make Eteris rink *more* crowded then Buyanovas anyway
Also, how many other skaters are with a specific coach is far from the only criteria for a switch. If for whatever reason Polina felt she can't stay with Eteri, how many other options did she have? Leaving Russia is nearly impossible (Evgenia is a rare exception and I doubt Polina has the clout and backing Evgenia has, for obvious reasons), and there aren't that many other coaches that... well, have a certain standing (aka wouldn't be considered 'moving down'). Buyanova was by far the best thing that could happen to Polina IMO, if we accept the switch away from Eteri in the first place.
