Hello! I just joined.

I only started following the sport after V/M ice dancing in PyeongChang, then I happened to click on a video of Shoma's See you again ex at Skate America (which I cannot seem to find anymore? It had ~2 mill views! :scratch2:) and I became addicted to watching him after that! I thought he was really brave to go through Worlds this year and I also like the fact that he is quite introverted and gentle but has figure skating as his creative outlet! I hope that he reaches all the goals and dreams that he aims for in the future :)

Welcome Dreamer57. You've picked a great time to start following the Prince! He is an amazing talent and so fun to watch! Here is the Sk Amer EX. It has a cantilever that is definitely a fan favorite! I was there live and it was a great performance. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LwqYUzYwBoo

Thanks for the link too! How lucky you are to be able to watch him in person! :) Is it expensive to attend a gala skate? I love all his exhibitions. I hope we get to see the full Great Spirits ex soon!
 
Welcome Dreamer57 ! I also started following the sport through ice dance (I got both P/C and Shoma new EXs today !!! :yahoo:) and discovered Shoma at the Olympics. Wow! Shoma's See you again Sk America ex has 2 million views now?! 2 months ago it only had 1.4 million views. Amazing! I also started following him/fs after watching that vid.

I started following him after that same video too lol. However, that YouTube account got banned so all the videos are gone now [emoji24][emoji24][emoji24]. I was super sad that one of my fav video of Shoma’s Ex is gone. Good thing I downloaded them all.

The prices are all over the place for exhibitions, so I don't really remember what that one cost. We had an all-event pass and I think the EX was included in the package. True Confession: I usually skip the galas. :scard7:
This avatar is a favorite, but there are so many good photos of him that I keep changing my avatar frequently.:dbana:

BTW -- I love that video where Tessa and Scott are working with him. I felt like he really tried to incorporate their suggestion of skating more open in his chest area. I like how Scott says he's good looking.
 
I just watched Time After Time!! Few seconds in and I was stunned already! I love it so much! I really, really love it. Those arm movements are new. He creates very nice body curves and lines!! I don't know how to express it! Mature and sexy program! WOW SHOMACHKA WOW!!!!!!

Time after time is a classy choreography imo, just like the piece itself. Wonderful job from David and from Shoma. He can do it though he feels jazz is not his cup of tea. He´s got the jazzy rhythm in his moves all through the program. Awesome! I wonder why no video of Great Spirit yet?

Unfortunately the shows when Shoma performed Great Spirit aren’t going to be broadcast and fan cams aren’t allowed during the show, only at the finale. We probably won’t see it until fantasy on ice (if he goes) or heroes and future (if he performs it then)
