Usually it means 4 rooms + kitchen
Today was news that Sabina will soon move to Moscow :)

Great news! It means that Sabina's skating level has increased and probably it's time for her to be trained by the very best. I would love to see her in Eteri's group too. It would be great for Alina to have her little sister in Moscow, beside her..maybe they are waiting for the new house purchase and then Sabina will move :scratch2:

This is such a beautiful dream. And it shows just how much Alina loves figure skating; she really sees herself doing this her entire life. And I think the only thing greater than being the best in your field is having the will to share your knowledge with others, and train other people to achieve greatness. :love:

So I just got back from Alina’s master-class at “Olimpiets” (The Olympian) ice rink in Izhevsk. It was very nice and warm event, everyone had great fun – children who were at the ice and we, spectators. :)

It all began with a group performance of young skaters.

Then MC invited Alina to the ice. The audience was mad! :luv17: She was just so beautiful and sweet. She greeted everyone, thanked people for coming and supporting her.

MC asked her a question: You were such a young girl at such a great event as the Olympics. What was the main lesson you had learned there?
Alina: You have to believe in yourself, do what you have to do and ALWAYS believe to your coach. No doubts, no contradictions, no arguments.

Then there was a reunion with her first coach and choreographer.

Question to the choreographer: What kind of programs do you think are the best for Alina?
Answer: She is an unique kind of skater who can perform everything. I choreographed programs of different style for her: we tried classical pieces, latino songs, oriental rhythmes – those I think Alina liked the most. (Alina nodded.)

Then the master class started. A whole group of children of different ages came to the ice.

Alina told them that every practice at her rink begins and ends with an elegant bow as a greeting to coach and demonstrated how she does it. Children repeated after her.

Then she showed them different exercises she does at every practice. They did them together, Alina leading and guiding children. She said: You do very well. I see your coach taught you everything.

When little skaters fell or couldn’t do something, she helped them, cheered them up and encouraged them to continue. She said: Those falls don’t hurt you too much. You just wait when you start learning your jumps! She sounded like a real coach (maybe she was pretending to be Eteri? :laugh:)

After the practice ended Sabina came to the ice. She performed at the song “Cuckoo”. (I don’t know is it her competition program or EX?) Alina was asked to comment on her sister’s skating. She was very strict and critical: I told you so many times, Sabina, to stretch your legs, to hold your back straight. And look up. Aside from that it was fine.

Young skaters prepared a surprise for Alina – group performance at her victorious piece of music Don Quixote. She was very touched and emotional about that.

Thanks for sharing with us everything that happened at the Master-class. Alina seems so encouraging, but realistic too. I think she would be an amazing trainer :luv17:

Yes, she was really great with little skaters. I think she remembers that not so long ago she was one of them and looked up at her idols. And now she is an idol herself. All those children just got a living example of dreams coming true.

I just hope this will not bring some new controversy with some people, who... You know, don't like... You know :) I also hope, without any side intentions or hidden meanings, that her trust will neve be shaken. But I think Alina is that type of person whose unconditional trust you have to deserve, but when you get it, it is forever and she won't doubt about you.
