2018-19 Russian Ladies' figure skating

Because she was only 13th at Junior Nationals and 5th at Elder Age Nationals and missed the entire first half of the season
Really, she's on the team at all because of those quads and her performance at the Cup Final. Winning such an event rather than Nationals puts you on the reserve team not the main one.

Yes, it's quite understandable. But I don't get why is Samodurova in a better position than Tarakanova...

Just wondering, on what bases is Radionova a reserve while Tutkamysheva is on the team? Radionova got bronze at CoC and at a CS competition and came in 4th at Rostelecom. Tutkamysheva had 2 bronze medals in two CS competitions and came in 9th and 7th at her GP events. :scratch2:

Pretty sure that is because she placed ahead of Radio at nationals.
I mean, Konstantinova is in the team after being 19th at worlds, so who cares

Liza finished 7th at Nationals while Lena was 10th.

Plus Buyanova is already giving up on Elena unfortunately, it will only get worse now that she has Gubanova, Tsurskaya, and obviously Sotskova.

While on other hand Liza is still Mishin's strongest skater, she has the 3a and the new rules could give her an advantage

Don't attach much importance to the published lists of national team - Lipnitskaya and Sotnikova were in them, although many months did not appear at any competitions

Yuzuru denies any romantic relationships with Medvedeva, saying that "reading those claims in press, he was shocked and thought it was about another Yuzuru Hanyu from some parallel world".

A bit harsh statement, I hope it won't affect Evgenia negatively, she definitely seems to like him very much. ;)

As a friend and person she admires, surely she likes him, but Evgenia is a down to Earth person, she surely knows what she wants from life.

Oh, please. Both of them are trying to distance themselves as much as possible from these rumours. The nature of their relationship and feelings toward each other (Whether friends, acquaintances, or whatever) is private and it's not our place to speculate.

It was private matter until Yuzuru spoke against it publicly, lol. :confused2:

Maybe he's trying to get things straight, before they start training together?;)

Also this.
It kinda looked a bit like they made sure all top coaches get at least 1 student in the teams.

WE haven't had enough drama already now you want more? :p

"The appetite grows with eating." After what we have already been fed, the offseason cannot just fizzle out, leaving us to starve. Figuratively speaking.:)

I don’t mind it when people criticize her skating, her miming, or her tanos. By all means you’re welcome to do so.
However, some people here seem to have some sort of personal problem with Evgenia, a person they don’t really know. They claim to be haters, with pride might I add, but most of their posts are about her. It’s mind boggling. :scratch2:

It would be better to go back to discussing the actual topic of this thread.

Does anyone know what is happening with Alisa Fedichkina or Alena Leonova? They're not on the list - the only Russian ladies who appeared in JGP/GP last season and are not on the list...
