New Survivor Show

Rebecca is the person I had in our game at work. Now, she's gone.  I really don't blame them for getting rid of her though. I am disliking Candice more and more every week. I didn't even feel sorry for her on Exile Island.

The Aitu tribe are prime targets and if there is a merge...........look out!! If there isn't a merge, they'll just pick each other off. I think Parvati is the swing vote. I love this season.

Dee

If there is a merge it will be 5 Raro & 4 Aitu. According to a Survivor board Yul has said he will use the Immunity Idol to protect the Aitu team, not just for himself. So, if Raro votes off an Aitu member at Tribal Council, Yul can bring out the Idol & whoever has the next highest # of votes will have to leave. That should be a member of the Raro tribe. I'll laugh if it is Candice. (At least, I think that is how the Immunity Idol can be used.)

As I understand the immunity idol, the person has to have it in his possession at tribal council. So Yul would have to figure out who the Raros were going to pick on beforehand and give the idol to that person before council, leaving himself vulnerable if the Raros pull a doublecross.

Best chance for Aitu is if it goes one more time before the merge, so they can go in four to four.

Second best chance is to get Nate to come over to the Aitu side.

.
Math do you think Raros are that smart to pull a double cross. If anyone on the Aitu tribe has a feeling they are going to be voted off and you know they'll be picked off first, Aitu can all vote for a Raro member they want off. I think Yul and the other members are smart enough to figure that one out. For some odd reason, I don't think they'll merge. I just hope Aitu hangs in there strong.

Dee

I am not sure I see any correlation between giving the Immunity Idol to anyone on Raro helping Yul out. None. I think that would be utterly stupid if he did. I can't even figure how it would go down - the hand off. He would be disclosing he has it as he is giving it away? And with a all to betrayed mindset achieved in the "mutiny" that would be to risky to be at all smart. I think he should get some kind of rummer going so everyone knows Candice doesn't have it is the only benefit from any disclosure of his possession.

Nate's time is likely up unless there is a merge - which I hope there is not until it is down to the final 4. But the way Aitu is going I don't see how it could be avoided if Raro is down to 2 - I don't know how else it could go from that point. Nate and Adam are the 2 that should go soon if this game is going to "open to the possibilities" of a merge. I hope they see that they are the controller personalities. Nate does not have a good chance really IMO and if Adam is gone that will leave Candi hanging on hope and crush her mental game. I would love to see her crawling back or "re-convincing" Jonathan on her side, Jonathan will try to assume the leader role and naturally become a target no matter to the merge or not.

If Raro is wise I would think they would oust Adam because they know they will get second fiddle to the love affair, and Adam is not all that helpful to the tribe - Jonathan and Nate could easily be the "strong arm" making Adam to much risk for the little benefit.

I will probably be wrong, but how I "think" it will go..
Reward Challenge Aitu wins.
Immunity challenge Aitu wins, Raro votes off Nate.
The "talk" will be all about strategy for the merge, into next weeks episode. Which will be Adam and Candi trying to pull a Amber and Rob and get everyone to blindly follow.

Don't they usually run the Thanksgiving Survivor on the Sunday after?

Survivor will be on air Thankgiving evening.

SPOILER:

BTW, according to TiVo, there is a merge this week.

Thanks for verifying time airing. And thanks for the "spoiler," I don't think I could have avoided scrolling down:laugh: I contemplated, but couldn't resist:agree:

Now I am not wanting to say anything (OK crowd, you can stop applauding now:laugh: )

Heyang, thanks for that tidbit. If there is one of those you know whats, I think it will be a very hostile one, more so than the normal one. If if they do it this week there will still be 2 tribes, if you know what I mean.

Dee

That one was a nail-biter! I kept shouting to Yul, "Don't tell Jonathan about the immunity idol! Don't tell Jonathan about the immunity idol! Don't tell... awww, you told Jonathan about the immunity idol!"

But Yul was smarter than I was. He got out one of the Raros and he still has the idol.

If Jonathan had been smart (if pigs could fly), he had two strategies available to him.

Plan A. Tell all the Raros that Yul showed him the idol. The 5 Raros vote out Becky. Even though Yul still has the idol, the Raros are ahead 5 to 3 for next week.

Plan B. Do exactly as he did, only vote against Yul instead of Nate at tribal council. Five votes Yul, four votes Nate. The twelvth person voted off is...unless someone has the immunity idol? Yes! Yul must save himself with the immunity idol, Nate goes home (which happened anyway), Jonathan is still tight with the three remaining Raros, four to four, and the idol that Jonathan was so afraid of is out of play.

I'm hoping Yul 'played' Jonathon by saying that he wanted to take him to the final 2. Realistically, a lot of the people remaining have a good chance to win in a final 2 with Jonathon. Anyway, if Yul did not mention final 2, Jonathon might have stuck with Raro.

There's a big difference in saying, "I will (or intend to) take you to the Final 2", to pointing out "I want to be with you in the final 2". No promise was made. Yul choses his words very carefully. Again - a smart guy.

Exactly. He said "I would like to be in final two against you, rather than Becky or Sundra, because they haven't angered anyone in the game, you've made enemies" (or some such thing). He didn't say, "Vote with us and I promise you final two". Jonathan's a writer, hopefully he understands carefully chosen words.

Best episode ever!!! :) Loving the Ozzy/Yul duo and their gals. Everything about this episode showed the Aitus in a better light than the others....Raros drunk, Raros lazy, Raros stupid, etc.

The previews of next week showing the Aitus + Jonathan not sharing food is GREAT!! Loving it all!

This has been really good, Ozzy is way on top of my faves list. Belongs up there with Rupert IMO - of corse Ozzy wins challenges too.;)

Becky looked really cute  when asked about her and Yul. People better keep in mind that that is a strong alliance and will beet you in the end unless they try to break it up now! Now let's just imagine for a moment Prav and John???????????:p ewh...let's not! Maybe Ozzy will see something in her????

I think the Aitu tribe members have their game hats on; the old Raro tribe has fun in mind.

I know everyone wants to see Jonathan gone but I have to agree with him on some points. For instance talking to Raro that possibly Yul has the idol and Raro's are saying no he doesn't. What boobs!!! I think Jonathan was trying to tell them without telling them and they refused to even entertain the thought. I think I would rather see Jonathan win than any other of the Raros. I'm not a big fan of Jonathan's but a bigger one of him than the other Raros. Adam doesn't even understand that he's being played by Candice and Parvi, he just thinks he's a stud. Poor guy!!

I love Yul, Ozzy, Becky and Sundra.

I just love this survivor season. In my opinion, one of the best.

Dee

Well, Candice said she mutineed to have fun. Hope she's having fun on exile island.

I didn't think much of this season until the mutiny. That really made things interesting when Jonathon and Candice turned. It definitely changed the dynamics of the game. It also made Aitu the tribe to totally root for.

For me, Yul is my fave and then Ozzy. Mostly because I've enjoyed Yul from the start and still have issues with Ozzy throwing one of the earlier challenges. Becky and Sundra are on coattails comparitively.

I do agree that if Aitu does not have at least one person in the final 2, I'd want Jonathon to win. At least, he's playing the game with some real attempt at strategy (still don't get how his mutiny played into that - really want to hear more during the reunion show.)

Heyang,     That was a good one.

Any predictions about tonight. Here's mine, If Jonathon remains faithful to the Aitus, they have the numbers. Hopefully, they will win immunity too. Yay!! I am hoping they send Candice packing.

Dee

Adam is my "packing" hope. And send the "fun trader" to the castaway to wallow in her hormones! I am surprised to feel enjoyment out of seeing anyone suffer, but Candi - it kinda brings a smile to my face to see her suffer. The bad part is how she has all these positive comments about character building yadda yadda when she comes back. It is hard to "dislike" such a good trooper. But I am reminded of her "ways." Hormones and Race got her to mutiny. SO :p to you Candice!

Johnathan's mutiny seemed to work out well for him. I would also love to see Candice try to win his loyalty. I have a feeling he will write her name down tonight. But I was wrong about the merge so.....

Actually, I wouldn't have a problem with Adam being voted out next. Just another way to make Candice suffer. After Adam, she should b voted out because she is a pretty strong player in the challenges.
