Apparently they also said TCC told them Jason won't be coming there. So they have a lot of stories they ought to get straight.
Ok so anyone quote the video or the part they talked about Jason not going to TCC?
We should compared what they said about Jason vs TCC and Boyang vs TCC.

Sign how crazy this off-season is. You see a post that states Brian Orser decided to unretire and compete and you think that's not such a crazy thing, even if it's in the crazy predictions thread.

I believe it was on Max’s twitter and many people just ran with it

I didn't see any tweet from Max about Wakaba. He said it during Worlds in his commentary. And I don't think TSL guy speaks Italian to understand it.
It could also be a misunderstanding because Wakaba did in fact work a little bit with Ghislain at TCC in May.

I don’t recall that to be honest. I thought they were implying that they did not think he was a Brian type of skater. I think that Ice Network interview read to me like Tracy was the one that pushed for Jason to come and Brian looked at the schedule and made it work. Brian also stated that his focus would be Hanyu, Medvedeva and Jin and that it was going to be a group effort for Jason

I have to brainstorm harder than the skating god because apparently that crazy predictions thread is losing to the skating god.

Jason's flying back to Toronto as we speak. Someone want to meet him at the Toronto airport and ask him about Boyang? #JustKidding #DontDoThat

Ha, accurate.

Ha, accurate.

Too bad it is not tomorrow. I am flying into a Toronto for business. Maybe I will run into one of the other TCC members coming back from Japan. LOL

I watch TSL frequently and they did not claim Brian said he would never take Jason on... and were then proved wrong.

They merely brought up what was was said in the IN article about how Brian was hesitant about taking Jason on but it was Tracy who convinced him to do so.

I just thought people are taking the TSL Boyang speculation more seriously this time because it matches with the speculation from the Chinese fans side (based on their own source of insider info). And for more obvious reasons, all the new students have started training at TCC while Boyang is still training with his current coach in China.

It happened in today's video.

I didn’t want to listen to the whole tsl video, but I managed to catch the part where they talked about how they said he wasn’t coming, but Team Orser had said Jason wasn’t either, so it didn’t sound that convincing to me. Unless they talked about it somewhere else in the video.

It was in their most recent video. It went something like “Brian’s team said Boyang wasn’t coming. But they said before Jason wasn’t coming, so maybe this is a ploy...” and the went into the programs debacle theory.

Yes that is what I recall as well.

Right. But there's probably a reason why they didn't Tweet that out or talk about it beforehand because they weren't sure if it was accurate. And they clearly said in today's video that Jason's "thing" may or may not have been true.

In this other case, they seem pretty certain that there is some sort of something going on between Jin and TCC.

They must have been reading the Chinese Baidu Bars. 😂😂😂

This whole thing is odd. Brian says Jin is coming in Mid June, June comes and goes and no Boyang but the other new recruits are there already. Now TSL is saying that Brian’s camp says he not coming. Meanwhile nothing from CSA or Jin himself. Just very odd

It depends on what you want to take as your ground truth. I could easily say that their speculation of how Orser would "never" take Jason in was based on what they'd heard, too, but decided to twist the words a little.

This isn't to say I don't think there might be a problem. There probably is -- the Chinese National Team was supposed to give an update by June end.

And doubt he would be going this month with his skating show later this month. So didnt know when until August.

Maybe Jin doesnt feel comfortable with the team and the environment and would like to stay with his old coach? I mean it is not like TCC is for everyone.

If this is true, it might be something to do with the Chinese Federation vs. ISU? The Chinese Fed feels very distant from skating and really backing away.

To not hold a single skating event this season in China is an excuse for something as they clearly have other rinks they could use and/or delay "renovation" to fit the schedule.

The Chinese fed just sent 2 boys to Rafael. I do not think Boyang not going to TCC is a sign of Chinese fed backing away from ISU. If anything, Chinese fed would be happy to send Boyang over TCC.
