I just came here and saw this headline… This is so terrible, and tragic… I don't know what to say…
 
Oh my god, I can't believe it! I was willing absentmindedly through Instagram, thinking that there were an unusual number of photos of Denis. Saw a couple posts about missing Denis, and I thought it was just something like he announced his retirement. Denis will be missed by the whole skating community, what a legend. I'm so sorry!

I will never understand how someone can take a life over literally nothing. I just never will. He did so much with his life and yet the pieces of ---- that took him away are the ones still breathing. It's just not fair.

this reminds me of the saying: it takes only one single idiot to throw a rock into the sea, but 100 wise men cannot retrieve it.

I hope they catch the culprits. But let's not forget that as of right now, these two people are only suspects. So far, we only know that they were walking around near the crime scene. let's not jump to conclusions and let the police do their work before judging. They could be just as innocent as we are.
 
A bit sniffy because it's just to much to take in really, but my favourite memory isn't one of his skates (although some of those are really beautiful) but his enthusiasm in trying to get the winter olympics to his country. And the way he handled the loss to China. What a guy. XXXX
 
I can't believe this. What a beautiful skater and kind hearted person we've lost. Over nothing.
Can't imagine what his family is going through.
RIP Denis.
 
My favorite memory of Denis is how he treated Frank. You could see it in his eyes that he had so much respect for him and I used to love to see that. My heart is still so heavy over this...Denis is tiny...….Why didn't they just hold the knife to his throat and steal the mirrors. The could have gotten away with a theft charge. Now, they'll be charged with Robbery and Murder and because it was Denis, the punishment will likely be death....for mirrors....
 
This is so upsetting. I still can't shake it off. Figure skating is my go to place for all that is cheerful and happy. Having such a beloved skater killed this way has ruined this atmosphere. These murderers have killed a skater who brought glory to Kaz. Their actions have birthed an omen that will haunt them in their dreams and every waking moment of their lives. Denis rest well.
 
A tribute compilation on YouTube made me cry: Denis Ten last dance sanctified souldier. I do not know how to paste a link here. Maybe someone can? Thanks.
