I love the transition into the 3f but especially the transition out of the jump into the donut spin. Such a complex use of edge and momentum.

Do you think Eteri's team and Alina's parents refuse tons of interviews, tv appearances invitations for Alina? I remember in 2014 after the olympics, in a russian documentary about Yulia they said Eteri and her parents rejected so many medias invitations to let her breathe because the public was crazy about her and everybody wanted to see her, hear what she had to say. Alina is the gold medalist and i'm sure she's received tons of invitations too but she just went to that Putin thing (which i doubt she had a choice in accepting anyway) and has been on small random tv segments as well.

With all due respect to Alina, her level of popularity isn't even close to the one Yulia had (in 2014 especially). For a while, she was a legit celebrity, in a way that maybe only Plushenko has achieved out of figure skaters in Russia. Yulia said she had to wear a hood as late as 2016 to avoid being recognized, while Alina can go outside relatively freely. (?)
