I'm not opposed nor excited about the music, it sure it's different from what she's been doing. But BOrser skated to it? What happened to HER having input, showing HER personality, etc. etc?
Other than Orser, does anyone know who else has skated to this song?
About the dress, if she's going to skate something hmm bold like this, her dress should definitely be bold too. There are lovely hues of orange and pinks -not all pinks are like Sotskova's dress last season.

I might be the only one here who loves jazzy programs haha i absolutely loved Mao's Bei Mir Bistu Shein and i hope it really is Zhenya's SP music, it would be so different for her which is what i wanted for her after leaving Averbubu! fresh programs & new, different direction for her! Give me fun, sassy, flirty zhenya! i was tired of seeing her being deaf or run by a train :noshake:
But Bei Mir Bistu Shein is one of the loveliest songs ever composed/written!

Maybe she actually likes the song? We know they have been discussing music since April, so their choice (whatever it might be) is likely to be the result of a lot of conversation and thought between her, DW and Brian/Tracy.

Being involved in the choice of the music doesn't mean she necessarily had to choose an unknown and never used piece of music

My understanding is that at this point they give her different options and let her choose which one she prefers, and ofc she has a say if she dislikes a particular option too.
Brian said that they want her to make her own choices but she can’t just go from having zero creative control to total control, it has to be gradual

I completely agree. She‘s more involved in the creation of a program than before but that doesn‘t mean she suddenly gets to decide everything herself. She probably said she‘d like to try out jazz and Brian was like: „Ooh, jazz you say? Well, I‘ve got something for you then!“
And if she likes the music, it‘s fine, isn‘t it?
It will be too similar with the name of the song.

i would just like to add my two cents on zhenya’s possible costumes. i think a red-orange-yellow ombré dress would look very pretty on her and the cut could be something like yuna’s send in the clowns but with no flowy sleeves and the skirt is like zhenya’s nocturn. i think i am just hoping to finally see her in a full backless dress

As a jazz lover, I am very excited with this possibility in my favorite figure skater. I would probably like everything that Zhenya chooses this season because I'll be sure that was her decision... but a jazz program it's
