Sorry for my late response (thank you, Interspectator, for your explanation!), the article said sometimes Yuzuru ate 3000~3500 kcal of food a day :)

I looked up on the internet and this site said the average calories a normal male took a day in 20's was about 2300 kcal. I've also watched the documentary of players in Synchronized Swimming before, they were persuaded to eat A LOT by their coaches, they couldn't go to bed unless finishing their meals. It seemed it was needed to their bodies because the energy consuming was huge and they had to float on the water rightfully.
Wow I really want to see a video of Yuzu eating 3000 calories. It seems impossible to fathom [emoji28]

its normal for athletes though, they burn it all practicing :agree2:

:agree: I'm completely against the myth of "eat a little but be a champion". I'm so happy that he has a healthy diet which is absolutely necessary for a champion at this level.

I've been thinking one thing...do you guys think there is possibility Yuzuru's program is not done by Jeff? It looks like to me Jeff has been spending long time in Japan or in other places and I wonder if he could have enough time to do choreo with Yuzuru. Or did they work at Japanese local rink while they were together in FaOI, or did they start working on it very early in the spring? I saw Jeff's IG (I think it was) and he was still in Japan yesterday and finally he would be flying to Toronto. (that means we're going to have media day, finally ?)

Impossible to say... I mean, I hope the short is by Jeff and the free by Shae-Lynn, but that's because we know how wonderful that can be...

I can't imagine it NOT being Jeff, although it crossed my mind that maybe they didn't need as much time for choreography if it was a repeat program...

Was it last year they showed footage of Yuzu and Jeff working on Ballade while in Japan (not Ice Rink Sendai)? I think that's what the rink looked like in the video since I thought I saw Japanese characters, but I'd have to check.

Good point, I also think it was a rink in Japan.

Let me add the page says only "Gold medalist in figure skating", so it doesn't say Yuzuru's name actually, could be Alina Zagitova

Hey, I quite like Alina but there's no doubt that would be... annoying.
