May be we can get some new video ?
 
I think the show will be broadcast twice : for sure once on national TV on September 1st, and I think I read somewhere there would be another broadcast on local TV at the beginning of August but I can't find it so I'm not sure about that :S
We may get information on the new programs though :)

Edit : so the Ice in Aichi (4-5 August) will be broadcast by a local TV on August 4th. but we may get new footage before that (https://twitter.com/figureskatingm1/status/1022491123003023360)

No need to worry; they're just ice show costumes, which are almost always dire.
 
To be honest, they could really skate in anything as far as I'm concerned, so long as there are no more "entire costume hangs by one thread" shenanigans...

Since the Tango is about jealousy, I'd like to see Gabi at least in a really vivid, dramatic green teamed with silver - green suits her and it would be distinctive compared to a field which I also expect to see full of red, black and gold highlights.

Anything with gradients. I LOOOOOVE gradients. Gaby's dress for MS would have been so much better with a gradient. :-D
And in fact, I really really really liked their SD costumes last season. Can't wait to see what Guigui has come up with this year.

OK, where are the Russian rumours about their music? Time to drop some leaks here.

Well, i was painting with a bit of a broad brush - there are more themes to the tango than just jealousy, because there are so many sub-genres - but it's a common one. And it's not just the Tango de Roxane, thank goodness, because if I have to hear that abomination too many more times my ears will start to bleed (I may be an Australian, but I am not a Moulin Rouge fan, Baz Luhrmann can apologise for inflicting it on me any time). One of the most famous tangos in the world is literally called 'Jealousy', after all.

Actually, if it suits the timing requirements of the Tango Romantica, I wouldn't mind at least one team going full-on traditional and skating to the Jealousy Tango. It would be a respite from the overload of Piazzolla that we already know is going to be inflicted on us. The number of singles skaters who seem to have decided that this is a good year to do a tango is ridiculous!
 
Anyway, green would be great. Anything that changes from the expected plethora of redblackgold will be most welcome.

Is Marie France choreographing for any Russian skaters this season? I don't think it's a surprise that the one time there was a very early music leak regarding P/C and V/M's FD music for the Olympics she choreographed a program for Stolbova/Klimov. Not saying they specifically leaked it but Ksenia did say in an interview they at least shared the ice with at least one of the teams so maybe someone in their circle heard the music.

I thought Gabby said in her instagram Q/A that they hadn't picked their FD music yet though?
 
Thanks for that, I am totally ignorant so know nothing about it all. Haven't been into ID for several months, not on IG, so no idea what happened in Gaby's Q/A. If they haven't chosen the music yet, I fear for next season.

But unless MF is choreographing for outside teams, there go my hopes for music leaks...

That is super late to have not FD music. I am scared they won't be coming to the French GP now and I bought tickets.

NO, she said that they hadn't yet had a discussion about revealing it yet, or when to reveal it. From what she was saying, it has definitely been picked.........

If you are refering to the Q&A in her stories, specifically the question about when they'll reveal the music - the way I understood her answer, she said they usually don't reveal the music before first comp and have not decided if they will reveal it before that this time, not that they haven't decided on program/music. Plus they already had choreo done with Chris Dean and Stephane Lambiel (respectively for RD and FD I believe) :)

Yeah, the RD is def by Dean, and I don't think that i have seen anything confirming that Lambiel did the FD, but I suspect he did........unless he was working with them on specific elements.

l'm seriously hoping for a new stunning combination spin. Afterall who better than Lambiel for it.
As for the dress a deep green would be gorgeous like Keira Knightley's dress in Atonement https://goo.gl/images/jYcsLk
