The Fantasy on Ice one, Haru yo koi, which as I understand is going to be his exhibition number this year, is apparently meant to evoke cherry blossom in trees...

It may be adapted and changed by the time of his first exhibition, but being Yuzuru, it'll still sparkle...

Ahhh, thank you! I forgot all about that. I had a cold when I watched Fantasy on Ice. I should watch it again...

Nope, definitely won't get bored of that... although hopefully it'll be three times someday... (knocking wood)

His costumes are so gorgeous.

Edit: I couldn't resist running outside to do some nail art inspired by that costume. I think I got at least 3 mosquito bites. It was worth it.

It would be awesome, but my little lists of dreams for Yuzuru is modest. No, he doesn't meed any more wins or medals, but being Yuzu, he'll go for them full throttle anyway. So.... I'm dreaming that he

- stuns fans and critics alike with his programs (and Yuzu, why are we still waiting?)... oh, and shows the people who bang on about nofrills, 'manly' costumes who gives a damn about what others think by blinding us all with briliance

- takes back his GPF and WC just to show he can and then keeps them to show who's the GOAT

- wins 4CC because he just never has, and it would be look so pretty with the rest of his gold hoard

- gets his blessed 4A (not too soon though, I fret about his health...)

- breaks his records at least once more because ehh, why not?

If the sheer beauty and quality of Haru yo koi - when he was still ending his rehab - is any indication - I don't see why not once's he's 100%. Certainly we are in for something to treasure....

Honestly, I don't like this huge emphasis on Pooh. I live in NA where Yuzuru was basically introduced to people based on Winnie the Pooh. When my boss brought Ice Jewel photobook for me, another Prof that was passing by shouted "Oh, I know him, he is the guy that loves toys". I was like
In that regard, though I don't like Elizabeth Peyton's artwork, but she is doing a much better job to show the real Yuzuru Hanyu to the world than we Hanyu fans.

I can I think sheepishly admit (safe in this thread) that when everyone elsewhere is talking about all the tango programs for 2018-19, I keep wanting to suggest a piece called Kuroneko no tango, partly because of my unruly sense of the ridiculous (which also is sooner or later going to pipe up with "Masochism Tango, please!!!") but also because I was reminded yesterday of this little fanvid which I totally adore and which gets in your head like the cutest earworm ever...
