however, i personally (and perhaps eteri) am more interested in what heightens this particular program than dress color variation.

for me, red is juliet, and, i would dare say, is one of alena's best colors.
for what it's worth, there are of course different shades of red.

i don't see juliet or alena as pink or white, but that's just me.

i can say that i would probably prefer those two colors over yellow.

True Red like Olivia Hussey in that classic movie would be great! I almost want that Juliet cap on Alenka but I think hair accessories may interfere with spins and other skills.

For me, Juliet is white. Probably because of this:

Even though it‘s not technically white, more a mixture of beige (?) and pink stones.

But I like red, too. Anastasiia Gubanova had a red dress as a Juliet and that‘s probably one of my favourite Romeo&Juliet programs ever.

I stopped by to watch her practice group today she seemed to struggle with her Lz combo a bit, but nailed it when performing her SP. Double Axel gorgeous as always, same with 3 Flip. She also did a part of her FS, everything clean. Her skating skills and edge work are a joy to watch Dudakov is with her, so no cute Instagram pics... or he has secretly created a Snapchat account and posts pics of Alena and himself with bunny ears

I wish her all the best and I hope I‘ll be there to cheer her on. Alena is a gorgeous, gorgeous skater and she should be able to secure a first place and keep it all the way to the end even with this starting number. Skating second isn‘t optimal, obviously but Anna Tarusina who also skated early and kept her 1st place until Anna Shcherbakova skated. So she wasn‘t lowballed in scores just because of skatin first. I hope Alena can keep her first place to the end! Good luck!!

And it‘s still unreal to see photos of Alenka in an ice rink I‘ve been a lot! I‘m so excited! :luv17:

I’m so excited to her see her skate (well, mostly her costumes [emoji13]) but it sucks the live stream is at such an inconvenient time for me (11:30pm, I’ll be asleep) and I’m very much a person who has to be there, live and in the moment so I can keep up to date with everything. From my memory isn’t juliet suppose to be blue?
Aren’t the montagues (Romeo) red and the capulets (juliet) Blue?
